Me and my Fiancee wanted to check out this cafe today as a cute little date. When coming In the lady behind the desk rubbed us the wrong way as I asked her what flavors of lattes they have and she immediately corrected me and called it sweetners wich is 100% ok but after that she seemed to rush us as we were trying to figure out what else we wanted to eat or drink. We went on our way sat down and waited, the environment was great until she practically dropped the plates of in front of us and said here you go... it was abrupt as my partner and I were holding hands and I found it rude personally. Immediately after she was aggressively cleaning tables slamming chairs around while glaring at us. My Fiancee and I were just so taken aback as we were trying to figure out what we did during the rest of are stay. I believe the girl switched out with a different lady after us and she was beyond amazing to everyone who came in after us and it makes us happy that others didn't receive the same treatment. I understand having a bad day completely but it just felt targeted.

I visited as part of my goal to stop into every downtown business that was new to me. The food was great, but all the comments about the cold, impersonal service are dead on. No smile, please, thank you, nothing. The pork nachos are to die for, but I'm not paying anyone to snub me.

The Ruben, invented in Omaha at the Blackstone hotel by a traveling gambler/ entrepreneur. Perfected at Koinonia. Their take on it with the pickle just does it. The staff is always happy, order is always on time. Deviled egg potato salad, and Cole slaw are perfect match to a sensible lunch. Just don't leave it in the take out box too long. * Be on time & dig in.

To the owners of this place...please change your menu to read pesto mayo on your breakfast panini. Pesto is not pesto mayo.

This place was great! The food was so good, friendly service, nice atmosphere.I got the Iced Caramel Latte & Sausage Egg & Cheese Croissant and my husband got an Iced Mocha & the eggs, bacon & toast and we shared a raspberry scone. It was all delicious! The ingredients are fresh and it’s all made from scratch. It came out fast and the atmosphere is a cute little coffee shop. I’d eat here all the time if I lived here.

I'd overall give the place top marks. Good food. I wasn't dissatisfied with the service. My boyfriend loved the dirty chai he got. Looks pretty too. I've only lowered the score somewhat as I do think the place could do with some sound-dampening. All the walls are hard and carry sound quite well, such that you could clearly hear everyone and it was a bit loud. Not overly so, but someone sitting at a table back there shouldn't sound like they're right next to you is all.

Owner needs to update menu photos (I've attached current as of 08/14/23). Food was fantastic, servers could be friendlier to non-regular customers. As I observed while sitting here, they were very friendly to regular & younger (their age). Definite difference with those that came in that were not regulars & older.Parking: Main St. Parking. I was here on a Mon during summer, lots of tourist parked on Main St. Plenty of street parking a block away.

Absolutely horrible service and food. Not only did the waitress not make my coffee the way I asked, she was stand-offish like she didn’t want to be there. Food came out cold. The only thing that was decent was the toast, but you can’t really mess up plain toast.
