I went here and place seemed closed permanently maybe I'm wrong I'm not a local here. Kind a shame I was craving Mexican food at the time.

Wife and I had dinner there foist time after going to the county fair. I had veal parm dinner. Wife had lasagna. Veal parm dinner was adequate, but not great. Have had better most places. Lasagna was fair. One layer had nothing in it. Service was pretty good and it wad clean and a good dining environment. Problem is, there is no dining competition in the area I am aware of, I was from out of town. Might try it again.

Food was prepared great, served cold with an attitude. Asked for condiments and was met with reluctance. Never got offered beverages.

This place was recommended by the motel desk person where I was staying. I had the dinner special of the day(Thursday), which was grilled salmon. I chose a baked potato, and it came with the soup and salad bar also. It all was delicious! Had to go into the restaurant part to get this meal. The bar has a separate bar menu. The bar server Stan was also very friendly and quick on his feet.

Horrible service!!! We got to the restaurant at 8pm and it wasn’t overcrowded, but we waited for our food for 1 hour and 15 minutes. In that time 2 families left because the service was so slow and we were close to doing the same. Several others complained and never apologized or offered any discounts for the absurd wait. While waiting for our food the waitress never even stopped out to explain what the situation was. I understand that there’s likely staffing issues, but they could at least give you a heads up that you’re going to be there (literally) 2 hours for your meal.

Went here at the recommendation of a local as we were staying overnight in town. Was not disappointed! Service was prompt and courteous. Our food came out quickly and it was excellent. Considering this was a Saturday and it was their prime rib night, that made me all the more impressed.

Good food great staff. Chicken Fried steak is worth the money. Stop and give it a try. Worth stopping if going through Murdo.

Only 3 options in town. This place, a rather expensive “steak house”, and a pizza place. We were hoping for a good burger, so chose this place. Best I can say for it was the food was hot. I called the order in for takeout. When I arrived I said I had a to-go order and the hostess sent me over to the bartender, saying “he’ll check on your order”. Bartender went into the kitchen and came back with 2 boxes...said “I found these, this should be it”. I looked in the boxes and they contained the burgers and fries. I said they were supposed to come with salads. He went back to the kitchen and returned with the side salads. Now the food. I would describe it as a mediocre $7 bar burger with soggy, limp fries; served with a side salad consisting of what appeared to be browning, bagged iceberg lettuce mix with 3 cherry tomatoes and 2 slices of cucumber which I was charged $13 a plate for. Paid a total of $30!! Wish we would have gone to the grocery store and bought some cold cuts instead!

We chose the Buffalo Restaurant by recommendation of our hotel staff. Their steaks are decently priced and include the salad bar and soup. The beef soup was definitely homemade and delicious and the cheddar mashed potatoes were right up there too. The steak could have had more flavor but we are used to corn fed beef in the Midwest, whereas it seems like most beef in the west is grass-fed. Yes this does make a difference. To top the meal off, they bring you a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle it with creme de menthe if you so choose. Great way to finish off a good meal. Our service by Cassie was excellent! Murdo is such a friendly little town! We hope to stop by again.

Amazing homemade bean soup ! Mediocre salad bar. But the square rubber chicken patty, freezer burnt veggies, and re-baked potato, I sent back. Yet I was charged 15$

Small place with gravel lot on the maid drag just up from the Beat Western. Bar on the left; dining room on the right. Saturday night is prime rib special. Includes potato, soup salad bar and ice cream. Inch thick with proper cooking fir medium rare. A little dry was the only negative. Food was almost I. The table by the time it took me get one swallow of beer down.

This place doesn’t look like much on the outside. Inside, there’s a bar area and a narrow room with tables and booths. A single, very competent waitress was handling a large group and four or five other tables. She never missed a beat. Food was delivered promptly, looking good and tasting better. My grilled walleye was a generous, perfectly cooked dish, with crispy hash browns. My husband’s steak was tender and cooked as requested. Soup tasted rich and homemade. Salad bar was fine. The little dish of ice cream with chocolate sauce was included. We left very happy!

Food was ok. I asked the waitress if there was tomato on the burger. She said well yes it's a deluxe, rolled her eyes and treated me like I was the stupidest person on earth for asking. I have been in customer service for 30 years. That's horrible customer service.
