“Very nice little place. Thought at first it would be bowling alley food since it's attached to a bowling alley. Not at all, nice little restaurant, very friendly staff, was pretty busy but got our food fast. Have lots of selections on the menu. Great food.“
“My wife & I (not from the area) stopped in on our motorcycles on Memorial Day. Since Miles Inn was closed, she googled other bars close by. It was a little difficult to find but we made it eventually. It was hot out, so we were looking for a cold drink. About a dozen people were sitting at the bar but all the tables were open. Nice comfortable atmosphere, the bartender was very nice and appealing and the patrons were welcoming and friendly. The bartender got me a cold Shiner Bock (Score!) and my wife a White Claw (Score for her!). We liked it there so much we had another before hitting the road to SW Iowa. We will be back again when in the area.“
“We visited this place on 29 July 2023. The place is small and cozy - and was not crowded as we arrived for lunch and some drinks. Maria was in charge and made the visit sooo nice. Really nice to chat to (My wife and I were there for about an hour and a half). The drinks are good and the sliders very good. And made in a relatively short time. Definitely a place to go for drinks, fast lunch and a good time.“
“What is a Charlie Boy you ask? Well, let’s get that out of the way. If you don’t care about this, or a little history, just skip to the next paragraph. Depending on what part of the country you are from, it will be one of numerous names which are basically all the same thing. A Tavern, a Loose Meat, or a Made-Rite. It’s basically cooked and seasoned burger in a bun, with your choice of ketchup, mustard, pickles, cheese, etc. the secret is in how the meat is cooked down. Is it a Sloppy Joe? No… those have tomato sauce/paste, and the others won’t. Fun fact, the Tavern sandwich, was first created as a “steamed hamburger” in 1920 by Carroll Dietz of Missoula Montana, and then in 1934 imitated by Abraham Kaled at the “Ye Olde Tavern” in Sioux City Iowa, which used to sit at 14th & Jackson. Anyhow, there’s a variety of ways it can be called or recognized. So as described above, it’s ground beef seasoned to taste good, and then placed on a bun. I’ve found typical toppings to be ketchup, mustard, pickles and onion, however, some places, like here at Miles Inn with their Charlie Boy, offer a slice of cheese as well. To me, I absolutely love cheese, but I could take it or leave it on this sandwich, as it can kind of drown the flavor of the meat as well in my opinion. Otherwise, I don’t want to sound critical, but I don’t see much that makes this sandwich here stand out much against the many other good ones I’ve tried. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but this place is known, even nationally to have one of the best. Eh… it’s good, but I just don’t see it making that high of a list.Service was good., staff was friendly. Atmosphere, not our kinda of crowd. We were out for an evening cruise on the bike and stopped when it was later out, so more of the louder drinking crowd was there. Not really our thing when we’re going out to eat a meal. Other than that, it was pretty decent over all.We personally won’t be in a big hurry to get back, because there are so many places we’d rather eat, but it would certainly be worth a try again sometime.“
“Ready to rock out with your guac out?! Then stop by the Tav and see Senor Dennis and he will turn your taco pink. Dennis serves up a angry beaver pizza and some fiesta popcorn. Get ready to celebrate Cinco de Dennis. Sponsored by drippybeaver.com.“
“Food: Absolutely amazing. I have loved every single thing I've eaten. The only item I couldn't finish was the garlic cheese curds. Incredible, but they were VERY garlicky and after about 6 they were a little hard to keep eating. Haha They would be wonderful to share as an app in a bigger group. There's a restaurant 'side' and a bar 'side.' Family friendly. Bullshooters, pull tabs, and Golden Tee game on the bar side. Great TV's. Could be a fun place to watch a game. The food is elevated bar food. And AMAZING ranch dressing. Good ranch is exceedingly important to me! LoL We've been here 4 times in 9 days. From 'discovering' it for ourselves. If that helps you make your decision to come here. LoL“
“I was only able to get here once before they closed due to the construction of the hotel. Food was OK, but the waitress was ho-hum. I'll give it a 4 star for now, but I plan on giving it another go once they reopen and give them a fair review.“
“Went to Wheelhouse to see an NFL playoff game on their big screen televisions. My son absolutely loved his bacon cheeseburger and said fries were good but nothing unique. I had a great club sandwich with a bowl of chili (a slight upgrade over standard fries) and thoroughly enjoyed my alternate combo. Service was fantastic despite being very busy that night. Wheelhouse is located in a popular strip mall so found a parking space and did some walking to the bar.“
“(Translated by Google) Excellent service and very delicious food I recommend it, I would like them to lower a little salt in the food, it has a little more than normal(Original)Excelente servicio y la comida muy deliciosa lo recomiendo, me gustaría que le bajaran un poco de sal a la comida tiene un poco más de lo normal“
“Had such a Great Time at Bolin Fest!! The Pavillion is big enough that, even though it poured with rain, the weather didn't stop the Bands from Playing or the Crowd from having an Amazing time! I'll be back, even though it's a bit of a drive!“
“I always enjoy Rebos. I know what to expect...all the food is spicy, which I enjoy. One thing I didn't expect was that the Lobster Bisque was HELLA spicy, in my opinion, ruined it because with spice, less is more, plus when is Lobster Bisque spicy? The beer is always great, and the bartender that served us was the best in the business.“
“The food and servicethe first time we visited was 10 stars. When we went in for take out, they repeated back the kind of wings we were getting but gave us the wrong kind, my daughter wasn't happy, she didn't have dinner that night.“
