I have been to Mad Mary’s at least a dozen times over the last 7 years, and I am sad to say, things have gone downhill. I realize inflation is hitting everything, but menu prices have exploded and while the rib-eye was great, the rest of our dishes did not merit the prices:-French onion soup has great broth, but needs more cheese topping and needs to be broiled to melt the cheese…four shreds of cold mozzarella tossed on old bread crumbs is NOT French onion soup.-They used to serve warm-out of the oven-bread with butter for the table , now it’s just dry, cold packaged bread.-Broccoli is not fresh but previously frozen, comes with no topping, seasoning or butter. Bland.Atmosphere remains the high point of the visit- just love the decor and feel of the place. Also had issues with kids menu, as seen on picture they have prices for each menu item and then kids drinks listed below with no price…so you think it’s included in the kids meal. It’s NOT, and we ended up choking down $3.50 x 4 kid drinks. If the kid drink is not included, please don’t put on the kids menu without a price- extremely deceptive. Also, I ordered a deluxe burger and asked if they could grill the onions, they said sure…but charged me an extra $3 for it without telling me (in addition to the deluxe up charge)- only realized when I got the bill. Just left feeling totally nickeled and dimed. One ribeye, one burger, two kids meals with kid “drinks” and our bill was $120 after tax and tip.

Always consistently very good food and excellent service. We are usually a group of 10-22 people. It doesn't phase them at all. Highly

Service and food were mediocre at best. The prices were extremely high for the food served. I would not recommend nor would I return.

Perhaps the worst burger I've ever had. Undercooked, no flavor, greasy, onions were bland. Tin taters lacked flavor or anything that reflects what potatoes and bacon are supposed to taste like.. Overall, I'm not impressed in the slightest..Everything else was great. Decor had me looking at something new every time I looked, and the server was attentive.

In town to enjoy pheasant hunting. Ate here on a Friday night with a group of 12. Enjoyed the Walleye along with a bowl of French Onion Soup. Excellent choices. Large group did not stress out server and orders were all correct.

This steakhouse was not what I expected from the posted reviews. The atmosphere was dark, uninviting and crowded. The waitresses were yelled for by the chef… terribly offensive lacking professionalism. Prime rib sandwiches were ice cold as was the a jus dip. On the other hand, the 10 ounce prime rib was seasoned well, done perfectly. Chicken entree was seasoned & done well. A place to try just once.

it seems a little stupid but no one could see in there The place was so dark people had to use their phones to try to see the menus The food was good but it just wasn't worth the price.(3 years later) Nothing has changed. Still dark, food is good, still overpriced. We will not be back.Parking: 25

I love the salmon here. The French onion soup is the best I have ever had.If you like potatoes, the tin taters are excellent! It is like a bite of camping in a steakhouse. The chimichurri sauce for the chislic is lovely. The restaurant is very dark when you first go in, so prepare yourself to go slowly when being seated!Kid-friendliness: Definitely kids always here.Wheelchair accessibility: Even though it is very dark a wheelchair could be accommodated.
