I walked in to re join after I moved up from TX. The lady behind the counter was at best half @$$ed about it. I asked about joining. She jist handed me a slip to fill out.and stating its 40 bucks to join which is a lot of $$ now days the things are going.Instead of asking me about me like other posts did. She seemed more interested in gossiping with 2 dependa B!#@$es at the end of the bar. If you are new ro town and a vet don't waste your time and money there.

My visit @ the American Legion was my Team playing Thursday night 9 Ball. I like playing pool @ that place. The service and Company is relaxing. 4-Stars

Used to go here frequently for their Friday night fish fry which was epic. Went there the last time before the Pandemic and they had completely changed their fish fry. Instead of large fillets fried in homemade beer batter, it was 2 dinky Mrs. Paul's style grocery store fillets for the same price. So disappointing. For over 20 years, it used to have the best fish fry in the area. I will never go back.

I remember applying for a veterans scholarship. I was the only one who applied went through and interview and was told they chose not to award me the scholarship. This year they sent out the same email advising they were awarding another scholarship. Makes me wonder will they treat another veteran at my school the same way they did me without an explanation. These people don’t really care about other veterans or maybe it was just because it was me. Who knows but they don’t deserve your support. I keep that letter they sent choosing not to award the scholarship to me for motivation. Also did I mention how they lied in my face and said I did such a good job on the board.
