We visited on 3-15-24 at 8:50PM. The door sign said they were open until 10 pm. We paid, and as we were at the buffet line, we were told dinner had ended already for the evening; but if we wanted something to let them know and they would get it. My husband then asked what time dinner ended. The lady told us 9:30pm. It was 9:10pm, and she just shrugged her shoulders at us. There was also a long brown hair in my banana pudding, and I was told sometimes people do that, and she took the plate away. Everything was cold and dry, and the seafood tasted rotten. Yes, we understand it was later in the evening, but if the sign says you're open until 10 pm, don't shut down early. Or tell us before we pay, that would have been even better. We won't be back for a long time. It is very upsetting and unprofessional to handle business in the manner they did.

1st time since it changed hands again after it was china Star and Hong Kong buffet which the plates are still labeled but im not there for the plates which were clean.Overall the food is decent, actually worth trying if you are on the prowel.Like any buffet style, timing is everything and it'll be ok!

(3.5 ⭐) My experience here has been better than many of the low reviews I see posted. Could be better, but I wouldn't say it was below 3 stars. With any buffet, it's probably best to go during peak hours to ensure food is being rotated/fresh. Everyone here is very kind and helpful.

Just had lunch and absolutely hands down the best Chinese food Rapid has. Our go to place was across the street but China Star changed our minds. It has now become our go to place. Only thing I'd change is music of some kind. It's so quiet you can hear what people are saying across the room. Food is fabulous but neither of us liked the egg rolls.

Food was old and cold. One of the hot tables wasn't working. Sushi was discolored, I was afraid to even try it. On top of that they charged us $18 a person right as we walked in the door. Stay away from this place.
Did y’all get new owners????There are Dead in dishes.Yes fly season. But everything on the buffet looked like it was from opening.. Not Fresh!!We came at 6pm. Aka dinner time and everything had the film over it & Dried out. I wish I took pictures…The sushi was weird and brown on the inside. We asked the waitress what is this? She didn’t know!We absolutely loved this place!!!!! ( we haven’t been for a month or so date nite)We won’t be back.

I wasn't sure reading the comments, but buffet always have bad comments.So i was there 3pm everything was good and fresh, only the egg rolls had a weird taste, the veggies rolls were fine tho.Price was 13.96$ service was perfect.

I unintentionally came right around store close for to go food, & there was no food. However ! The woman working the front desk was SO WONDERFUL, she ran around the buffet with me - offered suggestions & then asked the kitchen to cook all new food. A+ customer service.
