Food was great. They were very busy so service was a little slow. But the help was nice and the place was clean

I like that it's not in the center of everything. Gives it a nostalgic feel.

Here me out! Usually, the food and sevice is really good; however, this time was different and not in a positive manner. We went to a different dairy queen first (the one on Mt. Rushmore) and they were closed tonight - maybe due to staffing but I'm not sure. We went to the one on Canyon Lake and though the food was good, the service was not. I got the $7 deal and with the Mt. Rushmore one and (some of the ones in Iowa) has allowed me to substitute the Sunday for a cone or has allowed me to pay for the Sunday but just give me a cone instead. I don't like Sundays and I go year round for a CONE especially for a dipped cone as the cool weather during winter lets the dipped stay softer for a longer period of time. The dairy queen could not give me a cone and would only allow me to upgrade for a blizzard even though a cone is literally cheaper than both a Sunday and blizzard. I asked if I could just pay the same price or upgrade for a blizzard so it works on their side but just give me a cone and still refused it...what's so bad about a conethat this dairy queen couldn't give me a cone? I guess I'm a bit bummed and frustrated because the Mt. Rushmore one gives me it all the time without even hesitating or really caring about the substitute. This is why it gets a lower rating than what I would have wanted to give.

Blizzard items are quite spendy, but the food (fries, cheeseburger) are reasonable. The comfort room (toilet) needs attending due to a lot of traffic during lunch hours.

This DQ does a great job. We love the different menu items since they are independent from the boiler plate DQ menu!

Food, service and quality were amazing!! Only reason I docked a star was because a piano fell on me during my visit.

We ordered two $7 hamburger meals. The fries were cold, they gave us exactly two napkins for two people, and no spoons. For the Sundays. We got to the park to enjoy our meal and we're rather disappointed. Will try a different place next time...
