We had and extraordinary experience dining on the patio in the evening. Gracious service, fabulous food, and very reasonables prices make this a relaxing stop in the Black Hills. My best recommendation

Amazing food and fantastic service. A must go place in the summer in the Black Hills!

While the food was very tasty, the portions are pretty skimpy. $8 for 5 brussel sprouts! Seriously and the fish tacos at $15 were on the skimpy side as well. The dinner salad was nice and fresh.

Attached to the Black Forest Inn, this restaurant has outside dining in the summer with an excellent menu and good wines. We ate there twice and found the food and especially the homemade deserts very good.

Musekamp’s is a very nice, mostly outdoor restaurant located on the grounds of the Black Forest Inn B&B. It has a small indoor area, some canopy covered tables, and quite a few exposed tables on a patio. One of our two trips to Musekamp’s they had heating units running - it can be cool. The service is delightful, there’s a nice and not expensive wine list, and the food is quite good. We enjoyed the chicken and waffles (we both ordered it) and the trout was also very tasty. Be sure to have one of the pies for dessert. Delicious. Musekamp’s is only open in the summer season since the focus is on the outdoor seating, but it’s worth traveling to the restaurant if you’re in the area. And if you’re staying at the Black Forest Inn as we were, it’s a no-brainer. Eat here! Nice place, nice people, good food - highly recommended.

We had drinks here one night and returned another night for small plates. The food was delicious - we had the steak tips and the seared brussels sprouts. Both were nicely portioned and very tasty
We stayed at an Inn across the road. I had great fish tacos and finished with homemade fruit pie. My husband had a mouth watering burger with the best fries. Great for a outdoor relaxing night. Very welcoming waitress and excellent service.

Great place for casual dining outside in the Black Hills. Susan, Jen and Steve provided great service. Loved the soup and desserts were my favorite. Several families were here so it was nice to see family friendly. Prices were moderate and included local foods.

We dined late so they were out of a few menu options, but the brussel sprouts and bison meatballs were tasty as were the fish tacos. Nice intimate setting outside and the service was fantastic. A great little spot!

Best place to eat in the area, hands down. We ate here twice in four days. The menu is small, but so delicious. It is the restaurant of a B&B and there is seating outside and inside, but not a lot. Two nights of eating included: Trout, Fish Tacos, Chicken & Waffles, Chicken Caesar Salad, Apple Pie, Peach Pie, and local beers. Prices are very good and the service is friendly, quick and deserving of big tips. The beers come in cold mugs too.
