For the price it was decent. The person at the window was genuinely helpful when I asked what sauces were available. I told her to pick a couple and she asked if spicy was OK. She gave me a ghost pepper (my favorite) and two others--one was a garlicy sauce. Overall it was a good chicken sandwich but nothing that super stood out. I'll give them another chance as I like to support small business and based on the responses, the owner/management appears to run a tight ship.

My mom and I went through the drive through after a little shopping, and was heading to an appointment after we got our food. All the way across town we noticed we did not get a fork for one side of Mac and cheese and my mom’s sandwich was completely wrong, she originally ordered the Sriracha hot honey sandwich which is supposed to contain: Buttermilk garlic sauce, sriracha hot honey, bread & butter pickles. She got the bread the chicken, and the pickles but absolutely no sauce on the sandwich. She’s been here before and it was my first time, she was so excited to get the sandwich she got last time but she was very disappointed, there was absolutely no sauce on the entire sandwich. Just a plain chicken sandwich which she did not order! Not very impressed for my first visit there! (Kellys comment: not sure if I’d be going back there any time soon)

Everyone has breaded sandwich, which I will not eat. I could eat the smoked chicken BLT and mac n cheese, or potato salad almost every day. They are THAT good! Best chicken sandwich in Sioux Falls! IMHO. Thank YOU!

We've been there twice and attempted a third time. The first time, the menu was a little difficult to get through as the speaker is too far back from the actual menu but the gentleman taking the order was great, we got a popcorn chicken family platter that had hush puppies and two sides. The onion rings and chicken were great but the Mac and cheese was like eating glue, bland and sticky. The ghost pepper sauce was so salty we had to throw it away.Tried again a second time and the chipotle sandwich and fries were okayish, again very, very salty sauce, I had maybe 5 total fries in my box and they forgot my childs drink and sauce and we never did receive it with the kids meal.Tried a third time and it was horrendous, the person in the drive thru couldn't hear me, kept getting the order wrong, the sauces wrong, the actual meal wrong and was getting upset so after multiple repeat attempts and many minutes of trying to order, we finally just drove away and went somewhere else. Hate to do that but clearly it wasn't in the cards.Really frustrating because the food was okay but I don't think we will recommend or be back. There were some great reviews on here which is why we tried it a few times as it was a convenient location. Hopefully things get ironed out.

Fantastic experience overall! The food completely blows places like Popeyes, KFC, and even Chick-Fil-A out of the water. The food was fast, fresh, and delicious. The service was outstanding, and is a significant part of why Chick N Max is the best place for fried (or smoked) chicken in Sioux Falls!

A different kind of chicken place than anything else in town. The dining room is very modern but at the same time welcoming. The staff are attentive and go above and beyond your average casual dining spot. One worker came around and asked if we needed a refill on our drink (which we did) and then when we were done another lady came and asked if she could clean up our platters for us(not expected at a fast establishment like this). I was super surprised and delighted by the service here. Will be back to check out the other sandwiches soon!

Customer Service from the very beginning was amazing! Sarah was extremely helpful and went over the menu with us (first time customer) once seated, the food came very quickly and nothing was cold or seemingly “stale”. While eating one employee came up and asked how the food was and if we needed a refill on our soda. Towards the end we were asked again if we needed a refill and if they could clear our empty trays. This place definitely knows customer service. I will be back again soon to try other menu items!

First time through the drive through. Very confusing to get in and out at night. I was pleased to see the salad options and ordered the quinoa power bowl with no onion. It came with no onions as well as no quinoa. The greens had a lot of large stalky hunks that weren't edible. The drive through person was pleasant but needs to slow down so you can understand what she's saying particularly if you've never ordered there before.
