I heart Subway, the restaurant franchise. So much so, that I downloaded the app for online ordering. Came in handy on this trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. My local friend who lives in Mitchell told me that there's a Subway kiosk just outside the TSA security checkpoint at Sioux Falls regional airport. So I was like, cool. The story goes that I was scheduled to run a 24 hour ultra in Lennox, South Dakota 4 hours after landing. I needed lunch and my friend wouldn't arrive at the airport until 30 minutes later. What do u do? As soon as I landed and taxi to the gate, I whip out my phone and started to place my order on the Subway app. I located the store location, which was conveniently named appropriately. After completing my order and waiting to deplane, I exited the secure area and walked towards the baggage claim, only to remember where the Subway restaurant was. Once there, I told them I had a mobile order. The staff here was surprised thinking I was getting something to eat before heading into TSA security. It works just as well leaving the airport to be picked up. It was funny to see the reactions on their faces. It took me about 15 minutes to deplane, which was about the time needed for the order to zip thru the network and have it ready for me to pick up. Quite glorious actually and there's a small dining area between Subway and the ticketing area of the airport. Quite clean and nice. It's a quiet airport so, don't expect a lot from them especially if there is a morning rush of travelers. The overall experience here at this Subway restaurant at the Sioux Falls regional airport was quite nice and definitely a good one to have, especially when you want something healthy and quick before leaving or entering the airport and wanting to grab a bite to eat. It's quite nice and the staff was probably limited to 2 persons at any given time. The service was definitely excellent especially when it came to mobile ordering. You know what you want and pay online before picking up and not having to wait form them to physically make it and taking more time when you have things to do, places to go. For the most part though, it was a good spot to have a subway restaurant whether you are arriving into Sioux Falls like I was, or leaving on a trip. It's centrally located. The seating next to the Subway restaurant was very nice and very clean. I arrived around 1pm, so I quickly ate my lunch before my friend rolled up at the waiting area outside baggage claim to get me. Besides being healthy, or health conscious, it's a delicious option for y'all who likes sandwiches. Definitely recommended if you are here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and need a quick bite here at the airport. I was glad that there was no line when I walked over out of the secured area. It's a small airport so you'd very likely won't have a line. This Subway kiosk restaurant is located just outside the TSA security lines and near the airline ticketing area of the Sioux Falls regional airport. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. If you are like me, you can use the subway app to place your order. The best thing about this Subway restaurant is that you can come here, regardless if you are flying in or out, or just happen to be in the area and wanting a quick and delicious meal. It's not in the secured area that requires the TSA screening, so you're basically fine with grabbing a bite to eat. There's parking around the airport but it probably will cost you a bit to park and grab a subway. Best thing to do if you're not flying in or out is to grab a friend, place a mobile order, and have the friend drop you off to pick up the order while the friend does a quick circle around the airport before picking you up again. My experience here was quick and lasted for 20 minutes from pick up to "dining in", then out the door I go. Quite possibly the best place to have a subway restaurant when you know you're going to be coming in or out of the airport. The staff here is nice and f

Almost $11 for 6” Turkey and ham on stale bread. Inflation must have hit this subway extra hard.

She overloaded the thing with avocado spread and I feel sick they don’t ever stop to think about portion sizes on the sandwiches

You may need a total of ten minutes to get through security. Super easy.

Too bad this owner is unconcerned with customer feedback. Guess what? I did find a shop that doesn't make the employees throw out last night's perfectly fine cookies, and stops them from brewing tea in the morning because "it costs too much to brew it 3 times a day." Too bad your crew are not the actual owners because the way they would run it profits would double. Great crew with an owner that will not let them run it for the customers. Will not be back.

Small, regional airport. There aren't a lot of food options, but there is a Subway outside the secured area.

All of the airlines use the same contractors for ticketing, gate service, etc. They are the worst.

Cute gift shop on the lower level. Would be very nice to have more than one restaurant option!

Airport contains what may be the world's smallest airport yoga studio.

Rude customer service. Didn't achknowlege my presence while standing there. The manager and other employees were chatting away without a care in the world. Even after waiting a few minutes nothing was said to us. Terrible experience would rather starve on the plane. While sitting here they started to eat cookies and chat away.
