Food average. Burgers are frozen patties jazzed up with sauce or toppings. Fries were not warm. Service and atmosphere was good.

This is a great restaurant in town, we chose here because they have plenty of room for bigger groups (8), they have a large dinning space that typically has a short wait time (0 minutes on a Friday), and they are easily able to accommodate a wheelchair user due to amble space between tables and a welcoming and accommodating staff! If that isn't enough, the food is always good and the service is wonderful. Some food highlights are the walleye and meatloaf, but everything is always good.Kid-friendliness: Decent amount of options for the kids, also it is a fairly large building with ample space between tables.Wheelchair accessibility: We specifically chose this restaurant for the accessibility, many other local places have gone to high tops and are very tightly packed making them unaccessible, the Sandbar has lots of extra space to wiggle a wheelchair through and and we have never had a problem getting a suitable table in a reasonable timeframe, thank you Sandbar!

I worked here twice… co workers mix all there personal life’s with there work life. it is a down right uncomfortable group to work with the waitress that did remembered me lied saying I’m probably one of those single old creep that’s going to take a interest in some of girls half my age there..like it’s some kinda high school hook up joint.A cook even lied to me oddly as well made it obvious telling me two of the girls he was related to a detail I found to mention odd while the display of PDO was a common thing with him and one of them it was creepy and sick tbh but I know he was lying cause of whatever the waitress lied about clearly ? needless to say the waitress were judgmental rude and pathetic as well no change there ? …needless to say the co workers were judgmental children that gossiped way to much for it be a comfortable place to work as well took the first higher paying job I was offered cause I’d rather not go back to getting underpaid to deal with being lying about or being given dirty looks from a blonde gremlin for a waitress wearing pounds of make up with plenty more like her laughing like packs of hyenas…

The Sandbar & Grill has earned a commendable 4 out of 5 stars in my review, offering a pleasant dining experience with its beachy ambiance and a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. From the moment I stepped in, the laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff created a welcoming vibe. The menu at The Sandbar & Grill showcases a variety of options, from classic pub fare to seafood delights. The fish tacos were a standout, with perfectly grilled fish and a flavorful slaw. The menu's versatility ensures there's something for everyone, making it a suitable spot for groups with diverse preferences.Service was generally prompt and the staff was courteous, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, there were occasional moments of inconsistency, where some orders seemed to take longer than expected. Nevertheless, the friendly and accommodating demeanor of the staff contributed to a positive atmosphere. The beach-themed decor and the airy layout create a relaxed setting, perfect for both casual meals and social gatherings. The cleanliness and organization of the space added to the overall appeal, making it a comfortable environment for patrons. In conclusion, The Sandbar & Grill earns its 4-star rating for delivering on taste, variety, and ambiance. With a bit more consistency in service speed, it has the potential to elevate the dining experience even further. It's a recommended spot for those seeking a laid-back atmosphere and a diverse menu in a beach-inspired setting.

Im not upset that they were short staffed in the kitchen, but it took an hour to get our food, and the waitress didn't come check on us once while we were waiting. Now, the lady that actually brought my friend and I's food out was apologetic and let us know the kitchen was struggling to keep up and asked us if we needed anything else. She was great. The food was amazing, but I would have felt better if our waitress checked in on us at least a couple of times in that hour long wait.

Waiter was rude, told me he'd eat my food since they didn't have the correct ingredients for it, but I'd have to still pay for it. So wrong!!
