Never had a bad experience until today and it was just too bad to not leave a review. Came in to eat w my wife and mother ordered three hibachi meals and one sushi roll. Our waiter took our order and disappeared for 30 mins after 10 minutes our sushi roll was ready and sitting on the counter and it sat there for another 15 waiting to be served finally we see a waiter come out and take two plates too another table then our waiter running after him and grabs the plates and takes them to the back then comes back out and tries to serve them to us. The food was cold, he never offered to serve us our sushi and he lied and said the food he tried to serve us wasn’t the one that just came from the other table. We ended up speaking to management and they said there is no way our food wasn’t hot and we ended up just leaving hungry without our dinner.

We’ve never had good service here. They’re always messing up our orders and forgetting to order appetizers and other things. Seems like the servers don’t get trained. Ruins the whole experience. The sushi and habachi chefs and food are great. But almost every single time we come here the servers mess something up. It’s very poorly managed.

There was paper in the food and they charged us $3.00 because we used a card and not cash. The food was over cooked and it took almost an hour to get our food. The food had no seasoning and it was $80 when we could have made it at home. It was bad i do not recommend Tokyo .

Arrived on a Saturday night, was told 25 minutes.1.5 hours later we were finally sat, and that was because we reminded them we were there, three times.We then sat at Hibachi and the cook was nice but they were so rushed it was not an experience I would return to. Plus for the price it wasn’t worth it. We dine here 4 times a year, and this by far was our worst experience.Also, a kids meal for $11? Quite crazy in my opinion.
Love the sushi. Had 3 different rolls - all were delish. Their fried rice is some of the best. They were doing some deep cleaning. Smelled very fresh. It was very quick today.
Normally I love this place. But this last visit was a real let down. Waited over an hour from my entree terrible service. They must have been short-handed because every table was dirty.
