What a great brewery. Sit inside or outside but the view in back makes it nice to be outside. The beer choices are fabulous and makes it easy to create a flight. On top of that there is yummy pizza to enjoy alongside the beers. Fabulous service and prices. Dog friendly.

It’s a beautiful area. Sawyer is working some great beers. Smoldering scotch ale is excellent. Great veteran friendly place with military discount. The brew master is Air National Guard. The Ninja juice is really good too. 6 beers to a flight and it’s 12.00 a flight. They have food but we only did the flight. The orange soda was great for kids. Great experience in beautiful Spearfish.

Quick service. Kind staff. I ordered over the phone to go. The pizza was ready exactly when estimated and oh my was it good. We got the Mediterranean, sausage and pep and a cheese. All so great. The mozzarella is salty and fresh. The pesto was divine. Slightly spicy on the sausage/pep. My husband took one bite and said “I’d order that again!” The place inside looked busy with locals and looked like a fun atmosphere. Didn’t try the beers.

I eat pizza, but it has never been something that rings my bell. I usually eat it to please others. However, when we went to Sawyers Brewing Company, everything changed. Their beer is excellent, Blood Orange being my favorite. The pizza's are fantastic, leaving me craving them and going back again and again.

Beer was a 4, environment was a 5. Pretty views, beautiful space, friendly and helpful staff, wide age range of customers all created a delightful atmosphere.

Great wood fired type pizza! Menu is pretty limited, but the quality was good. Beers were decent. Lots of fruity beer choices. Gorgeous patio overlooking a beautiful creek!

Great place for beers in spearfish. Sizeable deck and lots of beers to choose from. Everything we tried was good from the pizza to the beers. Our server was amazing, I wish i caught her name, said she was a teacher as well. She took great care of us and the large table of baseball boys

Excellent service, waitresses are very friendly! Drinks were refilled immediately and pizza was served pretty quickly. New favorite place to grab a drink in town.
I enjoyed the Blood Orange Blonde & the Raspberry Kolsch with our amazingly-good all-meat pizza. I can't wait to return when the temps are a bit warmer, to take advantage of their pet-friendly outside seating at the edge of Spearfish Creek. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because the ONLY non-alcoholic drink they have is root beer, & for our visit, they were out. My husband was okay drinking just water, but he really wanted something else, & it simply wasn't available. Our server, Kristine, was great! Even when the place filled up, she continued to give incredible individualized service to everyone. She rocked the place. We will most certainly return!

Sawyer’s pizza is awesome! By far the best pizza in town! Excellent selection of beers, a few wines and great root beer! Staff can get overwhelmed but they really do try to make your experience great. We also appreciate that they have stayed open all year, not closing their doors at all. We will keep supporting them for a long time.

Had the Two-Stroke IPA and Ninja Juice IPA, both outstanding beers. The atmosphere is rustic, which suits the name Sawyer Brewing Company, wood tables, timbers and tongue & groove interior wall finish. Wait staff was super friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about their beers. Great place to relax and have a beer. Outside seating has Spearfish Creek a rocks throw away. You truly will not be disappointed.
