Kickstands is a great music venue that just happens to serve outstanding food!!! My favorite place to eat in western South Dakota, I bring all my friends and visitors here! Best burgers in the hills!

A friend and I were in town a little while back and we stumbled across Kickstands. It was a great time with great music. Our bartender was Kelsey, she was fantastic and a fun personality. 10/10 would recommend.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing. Kickstands hosts some incredible talent especially during the rally and all of the shows during that time were free! 5/5 stars given because 6/5 was not an option.

Went to see a band there last night. The waitress was polite at first, we just ordered nachos and a couple beers. Two beers later and 45 min for nachos???The place wasn't even full. I went to ask about the nachos, talked to to chef. When the waitress delivered the nachos she rudely walked by and drop them on the table and just walked off.For the first impression of a place I've not been before, I'll never go back or have anything good to say if asked.. what a shame.

Kickstands is the way to do Sturgis if you want balance between liveliness and relaxation. Love the owners and staff. Highly recommend :-)

Where do I start? First off the only reason it gets two stars is because I got a full refund during the rally. Why was it one star you ask, well let's start off with booking a full hookup's spot 10 months ago and then showing up to you don't have a full hookup spot and you don't even have a spot. They first blamed it on the rain and said the people that had power only couldn't get to their spot due to the mud so they gave them any open spot which meant they got the full hookups and we got nothing. I failed to see why we put in a reservation 10 months ago for a first come first serve establishment. Come to find out they over sold full hookups because they are under construction and they didn't have them ready yet, so instead of calling the people affected by this they let a sh$@ show unfold one customer at a time. Side note the roads going in and out are horrible in a car let alone riding my motorcycle through it the entire rally. Once it dries up the ruts are going to be dangerous as hell. They did refund our $1,4000.00 as previously stated and gave us an idea of where to look for a 8 night stay in a 43' fifth wheel, that is the only reason for the two stars. I will never book another stay at Kickstands. Where did we stay? That's on another review here in a week while we enjoy the open roads, I will say I'm 110 percent happy with what we found. That review will be 5 stars if it continues to unfold the way it's going so far.

Went for a long weekend from IL to Sturgis, SD. Had stumbled on Kickstand by word of mouth from a server while at dinner. I called and spoke to KIM who stated she would hold a cabin for me. I took a bit longer then the hour I told her it would take to get there and this woman called me back to ask if I still needed the cabin as someone was looking to rent it and I had the last one. Now she could have easily did FCFS since I gave no deposit or anything by my first name and word that I would be there. When she called I confirmed I was indeed on my way. I got there and I felt like I walked into a family gathering. KIM was not only an honest women with integrity but she was down right AMAZING!!!! She welcomed us as if she knew us her whole life and I tell you this woman helped restore my faith in humans a little bit more! The camp site was awesome and clean!!! MAN-O- MAN the showers there surprised me as to how clean they kept them, and at a camp site!!!! I haven't even touched on the amazing staff and the great entertainment they had as their line up! I had such a comfortable and wonderful time here! I will absolutely return when I am in that area and I will sing praise on this establishment to anyone who is heading that way! THANK YOU KIM!!!!!!!!!!
