the employee today likes to pick on little kids. i just sent 2 of my kids there and they were being rushed by the employee who kept telling them "hurryyyy, im waiting for you", he discriminated against my dogs just because they are rottweilers as well. The treats my son bought were broken and falling apart before he was even able to open and eat it, the employee would not let him switch it for a new one. when i called to speak to a manager he refused to give me the owner/ managers number or take a message and then hung up on me. horrible service and completely inappropriate way to treat and speak to children. 1st and last time we will be shopping there.

In this shop, all walks of life are welcome even homeless with free garlic bread for everyone. Such a sharp decline in quality since the the new owners took over. As well as many health violations in the kitchen. Open chemicals near food prep areas. Lack of hair nets and facial hair nets. Sandals in the kitchen? Steam hood wasn't on and had grease dripping from the catch. Food being prepped after money was handed over without washing hands. Cooking oil kept under an oven and near a cook area. It should be kept away from heat and open flame, but isn't.Food quality has gone down as well. The burgers aren't even burgers any more. I ordered a burger and got a chicken cutlet on a bun? The chicken strips are just mechanically separated chicken strips. They used to be breaded chicken breast strips. The poutine portion has shrunk quite a bit as well. The overall price of everything has gone up.I personally spoke with the new owner or manager. He's not from Prince Albert, but from Saskatoon if my memory serves me right.He needs to learn the communities wants. What the community needs. And what we can afford.All this being said, I have high hopes this stores gets better. It is a neighbourhood staple that most people remember as Dent's. It has big shoes to fill, and I'm hoping Olympia can do that. It's going to require a lot of hard work. Some sweat and blood. But it can be great. I know it can be because I've seen it.
