This restaurant would appear to be Permanently Closed. This is unfortunate as it was one example of a type of establishment that is generally missing in town.

I was there last week and was so disappointed. The service was terrible but at least our server tried really hard and tried to make things right. The food on the other hand horrendous! Tasted anbsolutrly terrible. Overcooked, not consistent. With the menu and just overall one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’m sad because this is a long term favourite of mine but I don’t think the quality is there to keep them going

The food is subpar at best since this place was sold. Until they get their act together, I would never eat here again. Doubtful that this restaurant will survive.

Service was terrible, had to ask for water 3 times and had to get up after 20 minutes to ask for the bill with only 2 other tables taken at the time. Mussels had burnt garlic so ruined the whole plate and never received other dishes that were ordered. Will never return!

Had a rather underwhelming experience when I came to dine here with my cousin and her boyfriend. Our server was nice, but not very attentive. From what we saw she was the only person serving the entire restaurant on a Saturday evening. The three of us ordered individual items for ourselves that came out at drastically different times. The olives I ordered were not as the menu described which was kind of a bummer, I maybe had 3. Our server apologized for the wait for our food and explained that the kitchen was overwhelmed. They hadn’t even started the pizza my cousin ordered at the beginning of our meal. It’s unfortunate that we had this experience but I’m hopeful they can turn things around with more staff, more training, a fine comb through their menu, and some drastic renovations.

Bodega has been a favourite of mine for years so when they reopened I was excited to come back. I have to say the service was absolutely terrible. As nice as our server was he was incredibly slow, and the kitchen was worse. The restaurant had maybe 2-3 other tables when our group of 16 showed up (after calling ahead to check if they could accommodate). We received one dish at a time, spread out over two hours. The food was hot and fresh but it makes me wonder if they even had a chef working in the kitchen tonight. I can’t recommend this place to anyone after our awful experience. I was embarrassed that I booked this place and subjected our out of town guests to this embarrassment. I won’t return. I wish I could compliment something but there was nothing redeeming about our visit.

The food seems to get worse every time I try to go back, which is disappointing considering that it used to be fantastic circa 2015. My partner commented that everything we ordered seemed like something we could find at safeway and microwave ourselves. The Cheez-Its on our cheeseboard really took the cake, though. Poor quality at a high price point - Definitely won't be trying it again.

I have been a loyal Bodega customer for years, one of my favorites! Tonight was my first time back since they've re-opened. What a disappointment! Get some Management! I felt bad for the the 2 servers (no bartender) handling the whole place. Although, it was not very busy. 1. It took the server at least 20 mins to take our drink order. + The food came out fairly quickly and was mostly ok. Crispy dumplings were good. 2. The vegetable risotto was inedible! We each had one bite. So overpowered by truffle oil and some obnoxious herbsit was like eating a Christmas tree. And I'm not afraid of flavor. 3. Our dirty dishes sat at the end of the table for an hour and a half after we were done. We got 2 glasses of wine in 2 and a half hours. The risotto smelled so bad and they wouldn't clear the dishes. No one was around. 4. We had finally flagged someone down to order another glass of wine and dessert but after waiting another half an hour, we asked for the bill. Never did get that glass of wine. + They did take take risotto off the bill when asked but when a dish goes completely uneaten and they haven't been around to ask if there was something wrong or why it wasn't eaten that's poor. The place has no leadership and a general sense of confusion and panic. I counted 6 tables in total. Very sad. Oh and that risotto was still sitting at the end of the table when we left.

Visiting Regina with friends and it is our anniversary. Wonderful food, Great options to sit inside or outside and our server was extremely gracious.

The food is tasty but at its price point I'd say it's not really worth it, the restaurant itself could use a renovation. The staff was very friendly and the drinks are very good.

Waiter was great but it was dead. Upstairs balcony had tons of popular juice everywhere. I don't think they could do anything about it if they wanted too. All the tables were dirty upstairs and I am not sure if they forgot about it.

Thoroughly disappointed, took us calling the establishment for 3 days in a row just to make a reservation, which led us to assume that they were most likely busy as usual. Upon arrival the place was empty, and for a Friday night that was kind of worrying. Quickly realized why, the name is misleading, went there expecting the "La Bodega" experience and received the exact opposite. It's almost like the new management is trying to exist under the reputation of La Bodega but can't live up to the quality of food that was previously being offered. The server was friendly when we did get her attention, the food being served did not match the prices they are currently charging. Would not currently recommend this place to anyone.
