The Food was good. Pretty standard "elevated" pub grub, tacos and burgers and the like. Some vegetarian dishes with soups, salads, impossible burgers, and a cauliflower option for the tacos (which I ordered and really enjoyed). At the table there were orders of fish and chips (a massive portion), the spicy dill pickle colonel chicken sandwich (reported to be delightful), and the chicken version of the tacos (didn't get an opinion on that but there were no complaints and, assuming they make them the same way as the version I got, just a bird instead of a plant, then I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they were pretty good too). Also there was an individual who couldn't wait for the late lunch / early dinner we were having so they got subway at the Brandt Centre ahead of time and just ended up ordering soup because they were already full and didn't finish the soup...The soup was a loaded potato. I tried my partner's, who got it as a side with their chicken burger. It was good, creamy, smokey, and pretty heavy, which is probably why the unnamed individual didn't finish it having filled up on cold cuts and bread not more than an hour before.Lots of beers on tap, a good number being local or independent brewers. There were a number of regular offerings as well as rotating taps for seasonal and limited runs They are not a brewpub, so, while I can't give them credit for making the beer, I can say the wide selection and quality of what they bring in was excellent. There wasn't really anything on the menu that I would call bad, only some things that were outside my preference). The manager was at the bar when we went to look at what was on tap and he was really friendly and helpful. I ended up going with a sour from Pile O Bones (previously reviewed...I may have been hammered at the time) it was fantastic. There was an issue with a funky Caesar. It was replaced and comped. Our server seemed new. They were a bit unsure of themselves and our orders, but put in the effort to confirm things before letting them get out of control. There was a lot of, "who ordered the ????" and i would have knocked them down a bit for that but given how they handled the caesar, they earned some stars back. The atmosphere was nice, it wasn't too loud at the time, but we were between traditional meal hours.

The chicken wings ?. I've eaten here several times, and highly recommend the pizza but last night was pretty awful. 2 salads, one order of wings, and 4 drinks for $90?The food is NOT worth that price, that's for sure. The wings were fatty, and absolutely gross, we didn't finish them. The service was meh, she walked by us several times without checking on us.I dont know, don't go if you're not just drinking and eating za.

Just got takeout. I got poutine and dill pickle wings. Poutine was good but the wings were basically unflavoured, kinda disappointing. Ended up going home and putting siracha on them cause they didn’t taste like anything. Nice atmosphere when I walked in though.

I stormed the beach’s of Normandy and lost brothers and this was still the worst day of my life. I am a wing connoisseur and these were by far the worst wings of my life. Sauce was non existent and the wings were as bland as possible. Other food my table had looked good. But wings were beyond

Server was highly disorganized. Told us it was happy hour, took our orders, and then charged us full price because he made a mistake on what time happy hour started - even though several of us would have ordered differently had he not told us it was happy hour. He also charged me for something I didn’t order, and then argued with me about it.The sandwich I had was okay although it was on a bun that was very dry.

First time here with a group of 10 and the food was sub par, the service was almost non existent. Will not be back. Was super excited for the 30 taps but waitress took my second beer glass, and water glass and didnt come back for 20 minutes, and I had to ask for water. It wasn't that busy, and we had a $100 bill, whick likely would have doubled if the service was better. Oh well, guess they don't need our business. It's a shame, it's got a great vibe.
