we went to east side marios in prince of whales location on sunday, we ordered tilapia and steaki ordered medium well but it was not done to my liking, server took it back to the kitchen and have it done to my liking accordinglythen there's four of us plis 2 kids but the server only gave us 2 pieces of breadone of the restaurant that i've been for steak but then just like the other restaurant i have to bring it back because it wasnt cook accordingly

Don't like the fact that the waiter or waitress thinks their tips should be more than what the meals are. Most people are struggling, and eating out is a treat. Typically, when on vacation. I didn't work extra hours to be belittled by my waitress on leaving her a better tip. Otherwise, food was good ?
Whoever was cooking the steaks at 5 pm tonight deserves a raise! Best steak ever ! was super busy and food still came out super fast! Did take a bit to be seated and served, but overall really good!Parking: Lots of parking space

Was disappointed with scallop carbonera. Scallops were few abd far between and the bacon wrapped scallops were deep fried and like little hockey pucks. Quality of food has really dropped since our previous vists.
The food and our waitress(didn't hear her name, It was quite busy when we went) were excellent. Even though it was very busy, we did not get forgotten. She was very helpful and attentive to the perfect amount. Definitely will be going back. All the food we had was excellent!!!!! Have pictures or the appies but forgot to take pictures of the entrees until we got home with the left overs. So they are in the take-out boxes. So Good!!! Italian Wedding Soup, Ceasar Salad, Homemade Mini Loaf, Bruschetta Flatbread, Linguine Chicken Tetrazzini, and Linguine Chicken Amatriciana.

We have been coming here for many years. Unfortunately, this time service was underwhelming. We did not have plates and cutlery on our table and had to ask for it after our bread loaf arrived. We received it with our appetizer. Men's washroom did not have any soap in either dispensers.

East Side is one of our favorite restaurants, we go for many special occasions. However, the last few times we have visited it seems as though the place is not being upkept. Everything is sticky (tables, chairs, menus, salt&pepper shakers) and felt dirty. Additionally, they have some major plumbing/bathroom issues which have not been addressed, the bathrooms smell like sewage backup and need a major cleaning, the toilets and sinks were disgusting. Unfortunately we won't go again until things get cleaned up. The service was good and meals were very tasty, as always but if the public area of the establishment is this gross then I don't want to imagine what the kitchen looks like.
