If this is the best sushi restaurant in Saskatchewan then I would suggest that you don't bother eating sushi. We ordered for the first time yesterday for takeout because of COVID and we were so disappointed. We had heard that it was the best sushi restaurant in Regina so we ordered a lot of food. The ended up discarding the leftovers in the trash. The tempura was crisp and not greasy but had a distinct fishy taste and smell even for the vegetable tempura. The rolls were not prepared with fresh sushi-grade fish and regardless of what we ordered they all tasted the same. The spicy sushi was hot but not flavourful. We will not be ordering from there again.

I went to Enso for dinner with a few girlfriends and our experience was fantastic. We booked a reservation and it was ready for us when we arrived. The drinks were great and the food was even better. The tuna melted in your mouth and the service was also fantastic. I haven't been there in a while and definitely won't wait that long to return.

The best sushi in the city, hands-down. Very fresh, the rolls are nicely balanced with great flavor. Had another great take-out sushi meal with some friends last night and I highly recommend.

Abysmal customer service and it seems like I’m not alone. Reading the replies to other reviews is equally saddening. Whoever is responsible for responding to Enso’s Google reviews could probably benefit from a crash course in PR. No, the customer is not always right, but an establishment’s response to complaints are what can turn around a situation not only for the customer but the other potential diners who are scrolling through your listing. Frankly I originally had no plans to come back after waiting 20 minutes with water and no menu, only to be later served tuna tataki the size of a toenail, but this poor attitude only furthers my resolve to never return. Yikes...

We really enjoyed eating here, and have been trying to get back to enjoy it again. However, the hours are a little tricky and though I have phoned often, I have not been able to get a hold of anyone to make a reservation. Tonight we walked in to see if we could get a table and were told by the woman working that they were booked with reservations, even though there were clearly tables available. She said it would be an hour and we decided not to put our name on the list as she was pretty rude to us when we were asking questions. However, we sat and waited for about 15 minutes and several people left so I thought I would try again as no one else had gone in. She was even more rude this time and said that she had just booked the last spot (I had been calling the whole time we were sitting out there and no one answered). She said take out wouldn’t be ready until even later, and right afterwards a man came in to pick up a take out order. We thought we would wait it out, and though a few people did go in, just as many came out. We were quite disappointed because we’d been looking forward to trying it again but because of the rude way we were treated we are not sure if we want to go back. Service goes a long way and I cannot recommend this place if that’s how they treat possible customers. Definitely call ahead if you want to try it and be ready to call a lot. Not impressed.

All it took was one bite of Sushi and I fell in love with this smaller, more intimate restaurant. The food was fantastic, and ready really quite quickly. The only reason I didn’t rate this experience a 5 out of 5 was due to our host/server. She did an adequate job, but was very impersonal and dismissive. This is definitely a go back to place!
