I popped into the new location on South Albert with my son. They happened to be doing training with their new staff today before their official open. The servers were great and the food was awesome. We got the fish and chips to share with calamari. All was fresh and tasty. We had the deconstructed lemon meringue pie for dessert. Then at the end they gave us our meal for free on account of their training day. ❤️ ☺️Kid-friendliness: They were polite and accommodating to my son. They didn’t seem to have straws but when my son asked for one the manager went out and purchased some for him.Wheelchair accessibility: The open floor concept and tables with chairs makes It easy for wheel chair users to sit with their family. There is an accessible restroom. I did not look inside it though.

We got the family family pack and it was delicious! The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fries were good and the coleslaw was flavorful and tangy. It was so good we ordered it twice this week.

Our server was Salman and he was excellent! Salman has always been very much a gentleman and is courteous as well as very helpful when it comes to food choices and telling us about any specials you have. The food is always great but I have to say that a big part of why we eat at your establishment is knowing that we are going to get top notch service from Salman. He is very reliable and has a great handle on things from the business end also. We love it there and much thanks to Salman.Janice & Paul

Expensive for sitting in an open room with chairs and tables eating frozen cooked fish. They try but just not worth it when there are other places that serve the same for less. The fish is mostly the cheaper fish varieties.

Food was good, but almost $40 for 3 piece and fries is crazy.

Today was our first experience since the name change. It was nothing to make me rush back again. Service was nasty!! The server could not get our drink order correct, it took 2 tries before she brought the right drink, but she did get the food order correct on the first time. The food arrived in good time. First impression was nothing to impressive. The fish was very thin and almost no coating. Less than a handful of over cooked fries. Not to mention the meal was $22 !! Way over priced for the portions we received. Will never go back. I would advise others to save their cash and eat elsewhere!!
Can't say enough about this place amazin food phenomenal service my server Salman is top notch highly recommended

My partner and I tried this place today for the first time, I was craving fish and chips, we went at 330 so we were the only ones in there for about half an hour. The server was really quick to help us with everything and also just generally friendly. The food came really quick and was delicious. We got tofish bites to start and then I got the joeys choice fish and chips and my partner got the tofish and chips (with no Cajun seasoning due to allergies) the food was awesome, sometimes fish and chips can be greasy but this wasn’t at all and the batter is some of the best I’ve had. The chips were super fresh and crispy even after I added malt vinegar and squeezed the rest of my lemon on top of them. Needless to say this will be our go to place for fish (and tofish) and chips from now on. The only thing I regret is not getting our servers name to give them a personal glowing review for how well we were taken care of this afternoon.Vegetarian options: The have tofish (tofu instead of fish) it’s prepared delicious and also if you get the tofish and chips option the battered tofu comes in the shape of little fish and is super juicy and very fillingParking: Parking is really easy to access and we had no problem finding a spot right near the doorsWheelchair accessibility: It would be totally easy to take a walker or wheelchair into the restaurant and there was a ramp up onto the sidewalk in front of the door and big enough doors to navigate with mobility aidsDietary restrictions: My partner has onion and pepper allergies and we easily had our meal altered to make it allergy friendly

The fish and chips were delicious. For $3 extra we received a generous portion of Cole slaw. Our server was very pleasant and we received speedy and accurate service.
