Used to always order here when I was younger and it's still just as good as I remember. Chicken balls were crunchy on the outside and soft inside, rice was perfect and the wonton soup had great flavor. Will definitely be ordering again. 10/10
We order combination A and combination B dinners tonight and wow !!The containers were so heavy they were so full !!The food was so fresh and tasted so delicious , chopsuey was yummy , sweet& sour ribs , chickenBalls all terrific .Well done McCarthy gardens , we enjoyed - and will for couple nights .We will see you again for sure !!Thank you ?

My husband and I have been searching for good Chinese food since we moved from BC in 2020. Last night we found it. We had ginger beef, chicken chow mein, dry garlic ribs, salt and pepper shrimp, sweet and sour pork. All was quite tasty. Plenty left over for lunch today and even a bit for dinner.

Absolutely disgusted, I have ordered here in the past and never had an issue, last night ordered same thing we always do and hald way threw found bugs... ?? Will never order here again!! *Update* after being treated very horribly on the phone by the first person a second person took over and was absolutely wonderful to work with.. they argued on my behalf and after threatening to take it to the papers only then was I given a full refund.. I get it bugs get in food sometimes and I wasn't even going to make a big deal till I was treated so poorly and told I was not allowed to order from them anymore (after this my whole family has no intention on doing so)..I was also called and asked to take my review down and the woman was very nice but I'm not taking it down.. I am upset cuz this was a restaurant we ordered from alot and can't believe how I was treated threw this all.. I appreciate getting a full refund and hope this restaurant does better in the future!!

Fine service, it's takeout with no dine in, so ambiance is irrelevant. The ginger beef was quite chewy and gave up. Rice was o.k and egg roll o.k. but the ginger beef was a write-off. Unfortunate as it's close to home, and it would be nice to find a decent place serving this fare. Unfortunately, we have to go to a place half way across the city. Food is too expensive to get a tough product one can't eat.

Not too shabby for western style Chinese food. Food is always fresh and hot, and plenty of it. Can’t go wrong.

Please tell me the difference between chicken chop suey and chicken chow mein- when you order chicken chow mein you expect noodles right ? Instead i got chicken chop suey with fried toritilla strips ??? The description makes no sense chow mein is noodles- you should prob fix that

We love the food and service at McCarthy Gardens. We have been customers for years. We love the hot and sour soup, chicken balls, special fried rice and Shanghai noodles. Everything is always hot and fresh. We have never been disappointed.
