we each got a pho, and crispy spring rolls, fresh salad rolls and chicken wings to share. The pho was very oily, there was a thick layer of oil just sitting on the broth which made it not so refreshing even after adding a ton of lime. They dont use the flat rice noodles so everything turned to mush in the middle of eating. The rolls were pretty good, the crispy one was the best. The chicken wings were bland and not that crispy, I wish it had more tangyness. We were hungry so we finished everything but the chicken. They have a great selection of bbt I wanna try so I wouldnt mind coming back for that. But overall mid wouldn’t come back for the food.

Absolutely delicious food. Friendly service. And the bubble tea is the best I ever had. I stopped here during a road trip headed back home to Calgary. I’ve tried many Vietnamese places but this one is superior. I wish I lived closer!

The food is really good, tasty and fresh. It's just a little bit more pricey than other asian restaurants. Also the serving is a little less than the other Vietnamese restaurants I go to.The service is okay. It's quite busy at lunch time so I understand we had to wait a bit for our food.Overall it's still good and I would still consider going back to eat there in the future.

I don't usually write reviews....We had to write our order on a greasy plastic folder with erasable marker. The 1st marker didn't work. I ordered E7 which was chicken wings on fried rice. The waitress was nice and said that the wings could be 1-5 for spice level. She said 2 was medium ?. I ordered 1 which was the least spicy. The chicken wings were done perfectly. However, the rice it sat on had a hot spicy level of at least 5. When I told the waitress that the rice was too spicy to eat, she went to cook (owner likely) to ask for some milder rice, the cook raised her voice, saying "SPICEY", loudly. The waitress returned and said, "that's how they make the rice." There was no offer of even a bowl of plain rice to dilute the spice. It wasn't the waitress's fault. She tried to rectify the problem and make the food edible. My husband's order of beef short ribs were mostly bone and what little meat there was, was tough. I usually tell others about a really good restaurant. I certainly won't recommend Quán Ngon to anyone. A $2 cup of plain rice would have gone a long way to satisfying the customer! And my tip to the young waitress who said she hadn't worked there very long would be to get a job somewhere else, where the owners appreciate their customers. If they don't appreciate their customers they likely won't appreciate their staff, either. The woman who took payment from my husband took a small amount off the bill because of the rice, but told my husband that wouldn't be the case next time.No fear, Quán Ngon, there won't be a next time.

This was very authentic pho and Vietnamese.I took my partner here so he could try the real deal.I wasn’t disappointed. Large portion sizes, priced accordingly. The environment was definitely standard of Vietnamese restaurants as well, but you could tell it was clean.Friendly staff. The only downside is it’s downtown and the parking is on the street.Would recommend.
