Ordered the family pack and used a coupon which saved us $20!Coupon is for pick up; plenty-o-tasty large crunchy fish, pretty darn good coleslaw(could have used more), and the fries were excellent. We'll dine in sometime soon as it has a kitchy sea feering motif. It would be nice if the staff had cool boat hats.Be back next month to dine in!

I'm a regular customer from Saskatoon since 2016. I recently experienced a very rude server named "LISA". Throughout my visit, she displayed a consistently rude and dismissive attitude. She seemed disinterested in assisting me even after waiting for 55 minutes for my order. When I asked about itShe was annoyed by my inquiries. Her demeanor was unprofessional and discourteous. As someone who values good customer service, I found this encounter extremely disappointing and unacceptable.Customers should feel welcomed and valued when dining at your restaurant.

We are a family of 5 and I only eat Halibut. While they have had it on their menu the entire time... we have been 4 times this year and every single time..... they have had NO halibut. Really if you are not going to bother to carry a product then remove it from your menu!! The kids said the fish and chips are ok but had a stronger flavor then usual and do not want to go back. Ages 9; 4 and 3 so..... we won't be back. For the cost and what they actually do have to serve you .... it is no longer worth it. At least for us ... it is a 2hour drive into the city to go to a place that is no longer a satisfying experience. Staff were friendly at least.

Love the fish. Not enough tarter sauce with takeout.

What a sad meal. How this restaurant has fallen so far. Order the two can dine meal today 19th Aug. The fries where dead and tasteless.....seemed prepared days ago only to be sold now. The coleslaw smelt off and did not venture eating it. The coconut shrimp well were an effort to eat....and left me guessing as to their age. The fish itself was the only part of the meal that I found safe to eat. It was ok and nothing exceptional that is if you like chewy meals. And finally, the surrounding area was depressing and dirty....I hope the city does something to improve the area since now it looks like the beginning stages of a slum. This is one restaurant where the owners do not need to fear that the staff is stealing the food.

I can always count on consistent fish and chips anytime I come. Always opt for a king cut because its so delicious. It's never greasy and the batter/fish ratio is perfect. You can't beat their tarter sauce and the gravy is quite nice.

We did take out from here as the area is not the most welcoming. However the lady who helped us was so nice and the food was great! Their fish tacos are so good.

This was a weird experience. The waiter was terrific. The food was terrific. But they have no plates. The food is served on food trays with a piece of paper of some kind on the bottom. And as you are eating your meal, that paper quickly becomes soggy and wrinkled and, if you're having fish for example, you'll be fighting the wrinkles to get to the bits of fish. Weird. But the food is worth the fight.

I've been a fan of Joey's for years. I've always loved their fish and chips regardless of their portion sizes. I would agree that the price can be pretty up there, but overall I didn't mind paying since it's my favorite fish shack in town. however, the issues I've found lately is that the quality has severely dropped. their fish used to be absolutely amazing hot or cold, but now im struggling to eat it even sitting in the restaurant now. the batter doesn't have nearly enough flavour as it used to, and it feels like the portions only shrunk even more. their fries have never been my favorite either, as they are very hit and miss. never had much flavour, not very crunchy. almost raw. but the fish has always been something I thoroughly enjoyed. unfortunately the last two times I ordered their food, once through Skip, it was very disappointing. lack of flavour, very bland. i figured it had been a fluke, since not only two months ago i had their fish and it was amazing. so I sit in the restaurant now, eating their 3 piece with fries and im disappointed once again. little to no flavour in the batter, and it falls right off the fish. overcooked sometimes, under others. overall, very disheartening as I've loved this restaurant ever since I was a little boy. definitely heartbroken.

I always enjoy going here. Staff is excellent right on par. Always willing to help out, offering refills and drinks as soon as they see it that you're out. Food came very fast but I find the fish to be a little skinny side. It's very long but very thick. The atmosphere there is a little outdated but the place was packed like always.think it has to do something with the staff. Very friendly and outgoing only had the fish and chips. Can't say much about the rest of the food.

I love joeys only, I’ve ordered it all my life with family. I had it the other day for the first time in years . I just wanna say the food was great, just like it’s always been ..However, I ordered an extra side of fries , and specifically asked for vinegar . I got home and to see “2 little individual packages of it”Which 100% does not justify. Two orders of fries.. major disappointed , back 5-10 years ago joeys only would give you a good decent handful of vinegar ..In my opinion to have vinegar with your fish and chips , is a staple to. Fish and chips and to joeys. For a huge franchise like joeys only, I’m pretty sure you can afford to give more vinegars, it was mainly the reason I wanted to have joeys again after all these years

This is a hard one for me as I love Joey's fish. The batter is probably the best out there in my opinion. It light and crisp that let's you enjoy the fish. Then there is there Tartar Sauce. It is literally the only Tartar sauce I found that I like. I usually enjoy my trips to Joey's but this one was only so so. The coleslaw seemed old and the lobster bisque seemed gritty to me. Not to mention not even a sniff of lobster in the bowl at all. Compared to Red Lobster where I was at the other day not worth the $8.Decor wise this location could use a small face lift. The bathrooms especially! Some of the booths need reapolstering and a bunch of tiles on the floor replaced.Service started off amazing and then my original server left for the day. Usually before I'm done my fish they're asking if you are ready for more not so this time.Over all it was a pass, but only because the fish and Tartar sauce.

Food was good. Outside of building needed pressure washing. Walls about 3 ft up were splashed with ice melter. Inside the floors and windows require some cleaning.

Tasty fish & chips as there are not many options in the city for this. I have eaten both inside the restaurant as well as pickup/delivery and have never had any issues!
