Lunch with my sister for her birthday. I called ahead and asked if they could present her with a piece of birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday. I said I will gladly pay for it. We had amazing service. The server, Hope, came and sang happy birthday and presented her with a piece of chocolate cake (chocolate explosion) with a sparkler. Oh my God, this is the best African ( Ghanaian) food I have tried, ever since I came to Canada. Sub-Saharan cuisine is the best in Saskatoon. Especially the waakye. Kudos to her. Saharan is doing amazing ?. Please, we need you in Regina as well ❤️ proud Ghanaian ?

It was my first time trying Ghanaian food, and I was delighted! I had the fufu and peanut soup, as well as the jollof. Both were a wonderful and exciting new experience. My favourite was the jollof. Very rich in flavour and the perfect amount of spice. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting authentic West-African cuisine.
