Had an extra spicy Bangkok bowl (Veg) with no protein, I would say taste was okayish (I mean if you’re not super hungry and want to eat something light)But yes worth a visit, portion size is small which makes place little expensiveOverall good experienceService was quick!

Experienced my first time at chopped leaf over the weekend. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the city. It's refreshing to see a menu with so many gluten-free options available, much appreciated!Side note: I got a chuckle when they asked if I wanted protein with my meal. You don't need meat to consume protein, vegetables have plenty ;)Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available for those that are celiac

The menu has changed and now it is terrible. They changed the chicken now it tastes fake and inedible. And the customer service has gone out the window. Also the price isridiculous. Terrible terrible. Will never be back again

First time at a Chopped Leaf and it was great! Didn’t know what to order, so the guy made me a Spicy Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough (I think). Super delicious, and will definitely have me coming back for more.Trying new foods is a struggle for me. This time it most certainly paid off. Thanks again!

The food tasted good as usual, but I couldn't help noticing an employee leaving their iPhone on a cutting board that they clearly use to prepare food as there were food stains on it. Very unhygienic and a disgusting sight to see for a restaurant.

Tonight I walked in around 8pm... Nobody at the counter and music on max. When I finally got sombodys attention I ordered a full sized Buffalo chicken salad for supper.I got the salad home and opened the take out box to find almost no lettuce and half a box of really hard rice.I've been in and ordered this exact salad before and it wasn't like this. Now I'm left with hardly any salad and dried out hard rice I didn't want or order.

Amended from one to three stars: We ordered delivery from the Betts Ave location for lunch. The food tasted great and the portion size was good. Why, then, you may ask, did I initially leave a one star review? One of my friends (a vegetarian) had ordered one of the vegan options. Relatively shortly after we had all eaten, she began to feel a tightness in her throat, like a minor version of an anaphylactic reaction, which she recognized because she is allergic to shellfish (she has to ingest shellfish to react). My order did include shrimp, but she had not touched any of my food. Fortunately, half of the people present were nurses, we had benadryl handy, so we were able to treat and monitor. She's ok.She called the Betts location and was put in touch with the manager there. When asked if there was potential for cross-contamination, she was informed that they use the same chopping block for all of the food without cleansing it in between. My friend then asked how they could claim the dish was vegan, if the food wasn't actually kept separate from the meat, and informed the manager that the shrimp being mixed in with her meal had caused her to have an allergic reaction. The manager stated in no uncertain terms that if she had wanted something truly vegan that she apparently needed to specifically indicate that she wanted a truly vegan meal, and that if she had a reaction because of their food it was her fault as a customer for not directly indicating to them that she had an allergy, not their fault as an eatery."What if a child with a severe shellfish allergy had ordered food there?" my friend asked. "That would be the fault of the parents." The manager stated, at this point in a quite elevated voice.Their manager refused to put us in touch with anyone above her, or provide any means of contacting the company directly. We were able to, because we have access to the internet.I really do enjoy the food there, and I wish that I could leave a five-star review. This one star review is for the manager (I don't know the manager's name, but it's whomever was on the day shift at lunch on January 4, 2022) and for the lack of basic healthy, safe food preparation. If your menu states something is vegan, and lists the ingredients, then it should be vegan, and the ingredients listed should be the only thing that the customer receives. And if someone calls with a complaint or concern, your reaction should be to solve the problem, not to blame the customer.Addendum: the owner communicated with my friend and to her credit took great effort to make things right. My friend received an apology from the manager, who fully owned up to what had transpired (credit where it's due), and an apology from the owner, who assured her that steps are being taken to correct the food prep and that she fully intends for it never to happen again. As of the writing of this addendum, it's too soon to say whether or not the changes are actually being adhered to. I truly hope that the changes are made and adhered to and that in the future I can change this three star review to a five star review.

Edit to add: Gini contacted me after I posted this, she was very kind and eager to make it right with me and the rest of the staff. Gini went out of her way to reassure me this would never happen again. I decided to give her establishment another try, and the food was absolutely delicious with no allergic reaction. She was unaware of what practices were taking place when she wasn't there, but she is now and has promised to do better. We ordered lunch from there yesterday, January 4, and I ordered a vegan meal, being a vegetarian. While the food was delicious, after I ate, I began having an allergic reaction and the only thing I'm allergic to is shellfish. I called the store and spoke with the manager who told me that it was my fault for not telling them I was allergic before ordering because they would have changed their cutting boards. I didn't think I should have to tell them I was allergic considering I ordered a vegan meal and I don't eat meat. I was calm and kind when I called in until the manager became rude, hostile, kept blaming me, and interrupting me. I emailed them and haven't received a response yet, so I'm taking this now to social media. Not only could they have killed me, but they forced me to eat meat. If you're a vegetarian or vegan do NOT eat here. You will be ingesting meat products.
