Same guy that delivered my pizza has been delivering it since I first ordered about 15 years ago. Great guy.This pizza was not disappointing. Was thick, as expected. There was not that much sauce or cheese on it, but I care more about the toppings.Two pieces, and I'm fed up! (it's a play on words, see?) that pizza lasted me for a few days, and was just a medium.

I dont expect alot when grabing a quick slice of pizza. But i bought two double doubles and they were so soggy in the undercarriage i couldnt even pick em up. Glad i grabbed napkins...

I ordered an 18 inch blades (sports) special. When I got there, they said the order was for a 15 inch. When we got home, it turned out to be a verns special. We dont like onions. The verns special has onions. We called back they said that they would give us a discount on the next order. The pizza had next to no sauce or cheese. The cheese it had was like no mozzarella I have ever had hard and rubbery. If this is what I should expect, I doubt we will ever use the discount they supposedly put on my account

Few trips there in past year have been from 2 star to 4 1/2 star as sometimes pizza is thicker and fresher than other times!??! So Its either hit it right and get great value (big loaded fresh slice), or it's a dissapointment other times ( Smaller stingy toppings not as fresh).
Seems like the owner has no input. You're going to get the pizza the cook likes. Different cook=different pizza. Verns gives the tools to make a great pizza, but someone NEEDS to be doing quality control. You might want to try central Ave or 11th st, seems to be better qc

Just WOW! Best slice of pizza I’ve ever had. Whoever cooked it around 4pm on Feb 15th did an amazing job. This pregnant lady gives 100/10 ⭐️ so saucey and so perfect yum

THICK pizza! Verns is legendary for their thick crust pizza, and for good reason - it's tasty and filling! Having said that, it's a lot of food, so for me a slice is usually the best option. Definitely worth a try if you've never been before!
