I got two dark meat, drumsticks, mashed potatoes, with gravy and biscuits. The biscuits are awful. They probably have been sitting out all day, or they are burnt. They are very tough to bite into, and they are dark brown. I tried to eat a couple of different pieces of the biscuits, and it was just too crunchy and it did not taste good. the chicken tasted good.as for the potatoes, they are not great, and the gravy needs to be stirred or something, it does not really taste like gravy to me.

I had ordered the Classic Chicken & Cheese, which came with pickles, was even asked if I wanted the pickles...but where my pickles at??? And you would think double battered chicken tenders would be extra crispy...these werent crispy at all!

While gas station food has a reputation for being, sometimes sketchy, things are looking up.Raise the Roost has a nice little kitchen inside this 7 eleven. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes are as good as most regular sit down restaurants. While you order from the Roost counter, you will pay at the 7 eleven register from a order receipt. There are a few tables for seating if you are taking a break from the road
