The lady running the marina could not have been any nicer, but that’s where the good stuff ends. We paid 350.00 for 4 hours. The boat we got for 7 of us was big and old but that didn’t bother us. About 20 minutes into our trip the boat was sounding an alarm and the motor wouldn’t trim any longer. I called in and was told to try to tighten the battery cables which I did. Didn’t change anything, as well as all of the gauges not working on the boat. So they came out to check us out, and eventually switched boats with us with a much smaller, very slow old boat with, again, all gauges not working. We packed onto this little old boat with torn seats and tried to enjoy our day. With the amount of people we had this thing would barely move. I was thinking that when we got back we would be offered some kind of partial refund, but instead charged us 40 dollars for gas when it wasn’t on full when they brought it to us. The young lady explained that the gas gauge doesn’t work and they go by how much it takes to fill it. This place is a shipwreck. The lady’s working there were very nice, but obviously the owner could care less. 390.00 for 3 hours of nothing, and we sat broken down for an hour. We will not return.

Needs new roof that is over boat slips and you need to clean your boat every time you want to take it out lots of spiders and webs . They do have nice people that work there. And they can be very helpful. The dock that goes out to the boats that are under roof can be a little dicey at the start. They do have cameras all around which is comforting to know.

Great service, friendly atmosphere right on the water, lovely view of Cherokee Lake. For lunch, I had a fried bologna sandwich on grilled Texas toast it was delicious! They now rent Kayaks, I’m looking forward to taking one out on the water very soon. they offer karaoke on Saturdays and tonight they have a barbecue pitmaster other nights various food trucks. If you haven’t visited Lakeside marina , I would recommend it.

Although I haven’t been able to use their services yet my experience with their customer service was excellent! I left a voicemail and within the hour I received a return call from Ashley. I was inquiring about a covered slip and what the availability would be. Instead of laughing at me like all the other marinas that I talked to that day, Ashley let me know she didn’t have anything available right now but would keep my information and contact me if something came available. There may never be a chance of me hearing back from her but at least she cared enough about customer service to take my information. Hopefully something will open up soon. Thank you Ashley for taking the time to listen and provide great customer service!

A little oasis out here in the middle of paradise. Equally friendly to both boaters and drive in folks. Live Entertainment most Fridays and weekends and a constant rotation of tasty food trucks. Children friendly too with a cool fish feeding opening in their floating entertainment dock area.
