We love the Brentwood Chuy's location off Old Hickory. The staff is friendly, the food is consistent and also comes out quickly.

i'm in the service industry so i have patience & understanding but the service here was awful for a sunday afternoon when they weren't busy. our server took 10 mins to greet. let us go without chips until i had to get two other people's attention. didn't prebus. didn't fill up waters. the food came out cold. & we were her only table...

It's fine for a Mexican resturant, but Chico de mayo is nearby and literally amazing. The food is decent, the service is very good and no complaints there.Vegetarian options: Good vegetation options, very nice food, I ate with my vegetarian parents and they thought that it was good.

Worst cheese I've been to. The food was cold and not the same. The waiters did not look like waiters.. look like they walked off the street. And they had to many table to keep up with the needs of each table.

We love Chuy's but this one is HORRIBLE.We used to frequent the Cool Springs location and were so excited when this one opened a bit closer to us. We tried it 3 times when they first opened and the experience was bad across the board. We took a break and gave it another try later on, after they'd had some time to work out the kinks. Since then it had been relatively satisfactory (never as good Cool Springs). We were excited for the seasonal menu so we went tonight. Before I even started eating, I found a significant piece of shiny paper/plastic in the sauce. Picked it out and decided to try and still eat the burrito, since it was technically on top. Things happen!BIG MISTAKE. About 25% of the way in, I found another piece of paper/plastic.We let our server know. He said they would comp it and bring me another. I appreciated that. Asked him to just bring it to go.It came out on a plate. No big deal.Asked for a box. He brought one. Asked for another set of silverware to transport it, as mine had gone back with the plastic burrito. He brought 2 packages of plastic silvies... ok fine. I open one to transfer it to the too-small box. Gotta cut the burrito in half to fit it.SURPRISE! Totally different burrito! We get the server and let him know. They bring another burrito, on a plate. It's missing one of the main toppings. At this point I ask to get the topping to-go, another box and a metal fork. He brings all three, I load my box, we pay for husband's meal and we GTFO.Also, our drinks ran out relatively early on and were never refilled. That's challenging with Mexican food.I will give them credit for comping the burrito. My husband's flautas were BOMB.One last thing, do managers not check-in in situations like this anymore? Remember when Chuy's managers checked in with every table at least once? Maybe that is just a Cool Springs thing.Googlers, drive a little further, go to Cool Springs.

Pretty good Tex-Mex, huge portions and prompt service. Got the chicken burrito, which was tasty. I could only finish half of it, it was so big. The chips tasted freshly made and were served with jalapeno crema, which was great on the burrito.

Kinda chilly by the window and there was a little rice still in the seat, but the service was nice. We ordered tacos ( beef and shrimp) and the big as yo face chicken burrito. Everything was delicious except one tortilla was overcooked but we were given a replacement. Overall, a nice Sunday dinner.Kid-friendliness: Kids of all agesWheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking available

We arrived at the place with a friend, leaving work we were in uniform. I'm not wrong in saying that they treated us as if we asked, they told us you can't sit wherever you want here, it's not like other places you have to ask permission to sit. Me too? That?? It wasn't even a high-end place where you had to arrive in a suit and tie and they treated us badly, like if we were going to order they gave us a table that was moving all the time. They just needed to tell me to hide so that people wouldn't see us, uncomfortable. I can say that it is the worst experience and the place where I have been treated the worst. Just because I'm home from work doesn't mean I'm not going to pay for my service or my lunch.

Place was dirty, food was a 2/10 and it took forever to come out. They have a ridiculous online payment system that absolutely does not work. I tried to pay using the system, and left. Apparently my payment didn't go through, easily a misunderstanding. But they sent a very rude and obnoxious waitress out to follow us, berate us and yell at us, claiming that we were trying to "steal drinks", saying "I bet you thought you were real cool" and "somebody better pay for it". Worst restaurant experience i've ever had and that horrible waitress deserves to be fired.
