Food was excellent. Service was personable but slow. Not sure it was particularly the servers fault. The restaurant appeared understaffed. The restaurant wasn't quite half full, yet had to clean each table to seat customers as they came in.

Local taco used to be one of my favorite places to come and eat at with family. Recently, though, I have found the service to lack significantly then compared to a year ago. Not only has the service become less attentive, but orders have been messed up frequently. And if you're looking for a refill on water, it might take awhile. I have gotten the 4 taco platter more times than fingers on my hands, but the quality of presentation and warmth has greatly declined in my last few visits. I have recommended to my family and friends that we eat elsewhere for a fun night eating tacos. I recommend you eat elsewhere, too.

We visit Local Taco monthly. I have found the service to be spotty and unpredictable. They are understaffed and the servers make up for the poor service by being personable and apologetic. The food is usually good. Tonight, there appeared to be one server and a hostess. It took 45 minutes to get our order. The food was horrible. The tacos did not come as described on the menu. They threw lettuce and tomatoes on all of them and the things like sauces and pickled onions were not there. the tortillas were hard and cold. The server appeared only when summoned. several tables left due to no one waiting on them. It was really bad.

Very cute little place.. BUT! It is not the reason, especially if it's not busy, to not have blender and be able to make frozen margaritas( but charging as fresh).. staff passing dirty tables with no interest to clean them up, blasting rap music even bartender can't hear the order, one toilet out of order - other need more cleaning supplies ...however food is very good.. With the love and more attention to it could be hidden little jewel..

This place is awesome. The food is delicious, and it comes out quick! The overall ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy and a little beachy! However, the best thing about this place is the service- it is amazing. The servers are kind and hardworking, the hosts are helpful, and the bartender I met, Michael, was great. This place is a hidden gem in Brentwood!!

What I like about Local Taco is that it’s kind of hidden and so it’s never too busy. It’s a great place for a happy hour or quick good meal compared to some of the other taco places that take 30+ minutes to sit down and order.Local Taco has a mixed bag of tacos in my opinion. Their best in my opinion is the steak taco. Their tequila lime chicken taco is not very good, I don’t think their sauce does the taco justice.Their trio of guacamole, queso, and salsa was really good with plenty of chips. The service was a bit slow but very friendly and helpful.I would give the atmosphere a 10 (because it’s nice and never too busy) and the food a 7.5.

The food is disappointing. We tried 6 different tacos. Only will recommend the fish and shrimp tacos. The rest are very disappointing. Salsa and guacamole are terrible. Not like the posted picture. They are not fresh to a point the guacamole is kind of fermented. The service is good. But not fast. The place is nice, floor a bit sticky. But not dirty. I will try other taco place if I go to Brentwood area.

So for me, the answer is ALWAYS tacos. This cute littleplace did NOT disappoint. I had a skinny mocking jay margarita (made it spicy and added jalapeños). So good! I ordered the 2 taco combo and got Nashville chicken taco, spicy shrimp taco and chips and salsa for my side. It was all amazing but the Nashville chicken was fire. Both the hostess and my waitress, Emily, were great!!! They didn't just give me a fake smile. They we're super friendly and seemed to really want to be there serving me! The place was really cute too. Parking was limited but worth the struggle. If I lived near here, this would be a regular stop for me. It would make a great girls night dinner venue!

Local Taco was a great stop following a hike at Radnor Park. The tacos were really well prepared and were a great value. Do not bypass The Trio! That queso was outstanding! Margarita hit the spot that needed to be hit. Service was amazing! Ari is as chill as you'd need him to be. Recommend this place 10 times over and will be back soon.

The place was not too busy on a Saturday when we went so we were able to get seated fast which was great. Staff was really nice but a little slow most likely due to not enough staff, still very nice. The food was very fresh and same with the drinks. I had the tequila lime chicken which was delicious and the spicy shrimp that was okay and delicious street corn. The restaurant has a very cute vibe. I would most likely try this one again !

Great food. Awesome service. Best margarita and mojito I've had in awhile. Highly recommend.

we arrived early 4pm and we able to sit outside. we were the only customers. at about 5 pm we asked to move inside as it was getting cooler as the sun went down. the restaurant was still virtually empty, maybe one or two tables with customer. we were seated in the very back, next to the kitchen entrance. The floor was buckled and caution cones were set out. it smelled like sewage overflow. there were NO PRICES ON THE MENU. We had a few beers 1 taco apiece and an appetizer. chips and salsa is considered a side dish. our bill was $70. The place was dirty. it used to be a nice place. what happened?

Decent place to grab a bite to eat in Brentwood. The service and food was good. Portion size is a little small but was reasonably priced. Would come here again. Sweet tea may be too sweet for some, but it was tasty the day we were there.
