First time visiting this place in Brentwood, Tennessee will probably return, but just your average sushi in my opinion

The food is excellent! Seafood pancake is an absolute must!! Bulgogi really good but I need more meat in the portion. Bibimbap, excellent! The side dishes are awesome. The Kim Chi also excellent. But the best thing they have is their GOCHUJANG. The spicy red sauce is sweet and not overly hot. I literally would put this on everything. Rice, meat, leather shoe. Sushi is not bad, we hadn't had a lot here but the scallop nigiri super good. I'll update as I continue to eat here.

if you are looking at the prices on their website, it's 5 years old. And what was $57 5 years ago is now $84. The red Dragon alone has gone from $13 to $20. It's a little pricey for what you get now.

While doing a quick search for a Korean restaurant to eat on a Sunday, I came across Madai...and after visiting, we weren't disappointed. The place was about 30% full, but that's okay because the one server was hustling to make sure everyone was taken care of. I must add, he was doing a great job!We started with some simple appetizers -- pickled vegetables and kimchi. They were flavorful and the whole family agreed. When our food arrived (Bibimap, Seoul style bulgogi, ramen cheese soup, and a chicken teriyaki bento box), the portions were pretty substantial. There was enough to feel satisfied and still have leftovers for the next day. Now, I will say, I sampled a bit from a few of the meals and was thoroughly impressed with each of them! The tempura from the bento box was fresh, light, and not greasy. The bulgogi was packed with flavor. I didn't try the ramen, but my daughter really enjoyed it.Everything about Madai was a treat. I'll definitely be back.

The food is really, really good and so is the service. They have a great selection of sushi & Korean dishes. It's not a "romantic evening" kind of place but they more than make up for that with their quality food and attentive service.

Normally we're happy with the food and service, but tonight it was horrible. We've been coming here for a couple years now and have recommended this restaurant to many people. But after tonight, not sure if we'd ever come back.

First off, how about updating your menu especially if your prices have changed? We ordered sushi and weee told in a confusing manner that prices have changed for our order and items we didn't order. Next, we ordered a Korean entree and the menu says it's served with Ban Chan. We got our order sans the side dishes and we weren't advised that changed as well. We're left eating an awkward dish that needed sides. Very disappointingPS go to Peter Sushi instead if you're in the area

Very good food and quick service. I will say I don’t tend to like Korean restaurants that charge you for side dishes. But it’s the only place in Brentwood so it’ll do for lunch breaks

Loved it here! My fiance and I came in just for Saki drinks and it was really great to meet Mr. Austin (Korean owner) and his brother in law. These guys definitely know the hospitality and their Asian cuisine of sushi and Korean food!Definitely come here and you won't be disappointed

A cold winter night made warm with delicious and spicy Korean dishes. Friendly staff and good home style cooking was just right for us while visiting Nashville. I will return when i visit again!

This place is legitimate. I would consider this restaurant a lovely place to bring family and friends with both Japanese and Korean dishes to choose from. Both my family and a party of six adult males were Asian, so I consider this place the real deal! I had the salmon dinner and my husband ate the Tempura entree which was a large portion. The bento box with salmon teriyaki was huge, and my 12 year old son could eat about half. So I think if you have a big appetite, you should choose a dinner or bento box. The green tea was delicious and came in a porcelain teapot and matching cups which I appreciated. The decoration is soothing and I enjoyed my family meal there on an early Saturday night immensely. The only problem we ran into was the waiter being a little clumsy and spilling some sauce from a used dish on my mom's clothes. He came back with a damp cloth and tried to help her get it off her clothes, so I appreciate that effort. So don't wear your glamorous clothes here, and you will be fine.
