Normally Everything is good & fresh but Today I went for a salad & got radish on it which was yuck!! Very bad smell & taste!!! ???Don’t know if I’ll go back!!Health Department needs to visit them!!!!

Disappointed by Tipping Policy at The PokiFor years, I've been a loyal customer at The Poki. They consistently deliver high-quality ingredients and friendly service, especially during lunch. However, a recent experience left me concerned.During checkout, the employee discreetly covered the tip screen on the credit card processor while prompting me to add a gratuity. When I expressed my desire to tip, the employee apologetically revealed that the owner keeps all the tips.While I haven't independently verified this, the employee's statement raises concerns, as federal law protects employee tips.Many customers, like myself, choose to support local businesses and their hardworking staff. Taking employee tips raises serious ethical concerns.In the spirit of transparency, I believe Poki's patrons deserve to know about this alleged tipping policy. Unfortunately, until this is addressed, I won't be returning.

I've gotten takeout here a few times but this time the spicy tuna was not chunked... The best way to describe it was as processed through a grinder and clumpy. It was not good. Do not order takeout, order at the counter to see the fish.

According to their website they close at 8 pm. I’ve driven there and they’re always closed at 7:15. If their hours have changed they need to update this so people don’t waste a trip. Otherwise good food

The best place to go if I need something quick..they had spam musubi when I went there and it was also good to just grab and go! The owner is really nice too :)

i have been a returning, loyal customer to this place since 2021. sadly, around 2023 the ownership must’ve changed. the quality of the protein has gone down significantly, while the prices continue to rise. also, many time i have gone in and a shorter man in his 40s has been very rude, tempestuous, and disrespectful. there was one time in specific when i bought 2 bowls. he then commented “someone must be hungry”. as a larger individual, that was COMPLETELY and utterly uncalled for. as a paying patron of this business, i expect to be treated with basic respect. however, whenever i go in earlier in the week, there are always these two wonderful young ladies who are eager to help. in the past few months, i have noticed a sign that says that the employees do not receive tips. my question is, who gets them? judging by the signs,it goes to the owner with no intent of redistributing it to their hard working employees. i am sad to publicly say that i do not recommend the poki to anyone.

Unfortunately this place has become extremely hit and miss at best. My last visit i purchased a small and large bowl and the portions were identical outside of the fact that the large had slightly more salmon on it. The small bowls protein literally was embarrassing. The lady scooping made hardly any effort to give the proper amount and when she misunderstood that we only wanted avocado (extra $) on one of the bowls she took the avocado from the bowl that wasn’t supposed to have it and put it on the other bowl and then promptly charged us 2x for avocado as if we asked for a double portion. The only reason i didn’t say anything was because her fish portion on my large bowl was so poor that i asked for 2 extra scoops ($2 per extra scoop) and she forgot to charge me for those. Also the “loyalty points” system is set up poorly and only gives you “1 point per transaction” and not “1 point per bowl” so make sure and pay for each bowl separately if you’re paying for more than 1.

People. I went today 1/31/24 for lunch and it was really the worst experience ever. Arrived at 11:50 am long line at the door and only one person working in the entire establishment.30 minutes later I was finally ordering in line and the food was truly terrible and extremely small portions of fish for $18. Don’t get the positive reviews but happy there happy

This place is severely understaffed. I placed an online order at 12:18 that was supposed to be ready at 12:38. When I got there at 12:45 it was still not ready and wasn’t even in the process of being made. I waited another 5 minutes before requesting a refund. The workers were apologetic but this is not ok. I am now late for a meeting with no lunch. I won’t be back.
