I love the views, the service was great.. The staff were pleasant. The manager was very pleasant. The chips they have were great.. my only downside were the soft tacos.. it was not up to par!! I have had a lot better. My friend I went with is a huge fan,but the tacos were not was I expecting.. otherwise a pleasant experience.

Went here for lunch and spent $200 no biggie but they legit charged extra for a tiny cup of sour crème. Are you kidding ? Never again will we go back there. $1.76 for sour cream RIDICULOUS. Say my restaurant is suffering without saying it’s suffering

It had been a few years since eating at Uncle Julios. We were super excited. It started off bad as soon as we walked in. We had a 1pm reservation. We arrived at 12:45. The restaurant was pretty empty. The hostess made us stand and wait while doing nothing until our reservation time, while staring at 1000 empty tables. Our waiter was terrible. Wouldn't take the used dishes off the table, empty drinks most of the time, was ignored. The food took FOREVER to come out (they still weren't busy). 3 of us ordered fajitas. We did not get the side plates with fajita toppings, had to ask a different server to please bring. The cilantro rice was very hard and completely cold, not even remotely warm, actually COLD. The fajitas were cold, the iron plate they were on wasn't even warm. Had to wait for tortillas. The 4th person in our party didn't get their food with everyone else at the table, we kept waiting and waiting and everyone was almost done when her enchiladas came out. Was given the mobile cc machine to pay .. it kept freezing up and not working right .. waiter nowhere around to help. During this entire experience the manager is walking around completely useless, if you see your team failing you would step in and help right? Nope! 2 stars instead of 0 because the guacamole and charro beans were very good.Parking: Have to park in large shopping center parking lot adjacent to the restaurant and walk up hill, cross a busy crosswalk with cars flying thru to get in/out of shopping center. It was difficult to find a parking spot, very busy shopping center.

Well we had a really good time together but our service was so bad that the manager compted over half of our meal. The manager really did do her best to make things right but Our server was not up to par and gave us very little attention. The Salsa was awesome, the appetizer we got was soooo good. Our meals weren't great and I wasn't as impressed with the chocolate piñata as I thought I would be. It was the whole reason we went but by the time it came we had gone through several phases of frustration. We had to wait FOREVER for the server to come to the table then FOREVER for drinks then appetizer then our meal and she came and told me she forgot to ring in mine ?. That part was so disappointing. And we ordered cocktails and margaritas and they all tasted awful and one came with a fly in it ?. I went to the bathroom as we were leaving and they were not clean and the stench was stomach turning awful. And now to top everything off, we have food poisoning. We have both been Vomiting and have the cold sweats. At the ER now.

Uncle Julio's Brentwood is a must-visit restaurant in Brentwood! The ambiance was cozy, and the menu had a great variety of Mexican dishes to choose from. I particularly loved the guacamole made tableside – it was fresh and flavorful.

Had reservations but still had to wait almost 30 minutes past reservation. Lots of free tables. Employees standing around. Poorly managed. Don't eat

Arrived there around 6:30pm on a Thursday. Were told it was a 30-35 min wait. It lasted 60 minutes. When we sat, we promptly gave our order. I was told they were out of a couple things on the menu. It was another 60 minutes before we got our food - we're at 2 hours here since entering this place. With this amount of time, if I'd just gone next door to Fresh Market, I could've bought these ingredients, gone home, and have already eaten by now, and probably still have enough to make more tomorrow.

Evan helped us get a booth for my Birthday so we could talk. Braeden was our waiter and made some good recommendations. I ordered special steak fajitas. Everyone's food was good. Drinks were also good gimme a skinny margaritas and a blood orange

Well I see my first review had been removed but it’s okay, both my husband & I emailed corporate when this place gave us a dining experience that was horrendous… I was considering date night here again because I do miss the Tex Mex cut fajitas, yellow queso & Margaritas (being from Texas) but after seeing people’s new reviews, supporting my original review, I will stand my ground & never return. Everything you are reading about the service, food etc. is all very true for this place within the past year to current. Highly advise against this place! You will never be greeted appropriately in a timely manner by a server, goodluck getting anyone’s attention, the bartenders are just as unfriendly & don’t care that they messed up an order then don’t correct the check… This place used to be amazing but not anymore & now I see people have been through the same experience we had!

Was looking forward to trying the enchiladas but my first bite not good. All I could feel was this hard tortilla and went downhill from there. The nacho salsa dip needs some kick. $25 for a salmon is kind of steep. Wife ordered it. Nothing special and you can probably get it elsewhere for much cheaper.

Service was lacking and we were at the bar. My shrimp was almost burned it was so overcooked and hard/dry. Couldn't get water/chips/salsa/drinks refilled without asking. No one checked back to see if our food was OK. Infact no one checked on anything, we had to ask for everything. It was Thursday night, not that busy. It's too expensive for this bad of service/food. It used to be a favorite place in Brentwood, but we won't be back. Too many other options to settle for poor service and bad food.
