“So good I had a hard time choosing what flavore I wanted. It's so nice to have a good selection of vegan ice cream flavors. I went with my favorite mint chocolate chip but tested the Carmel/coffee or something like that which was very good and made the choice a hard one ;) My husband and I Sat outside and watched the volleyball players while we enjoyed our treat. He had the cookies and cream and said that he wouldn't have even guessed it was dairy free.“
“Exceptionally tasty food offered at this stylish restaurant. We got cauliflower wings, nachos, and a delicious soup. Everything was outstanding including the drinks that had a beautiful presentation.Last, but not least our server was great (I wish I remembered her name!). She really made our day. We gave her some tips of vegan options in Austin, TX (Nori - vegan Japanese restaurant) and New York.If you are in Nashville, Avo is a must place to dine.Note: there is a public parking 100 feet away that allows one to park for free for the first 2 hours.“
“I went on Monday 3/18/24 around 6:00pm after a long day of walking around the Opryland convention center. Needless to say, I was HUNGRY. Luckily, I was in the right spot. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They were patient and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without judgement. There is a wide variety of menu items to choose from and I wanted to try it all! I ended up getting the all American burger, the sweet potatoes, the jalapeño corn bread, chocolate chip cookie dough parfait, and the tahini-ginger Tofu (which is the greatest restaurant item I've ever had). Everything was immaculate. Also, this place has FREE parking, which is a huge bonus.“
“We had the vegan GF biscuits and gravy and bought a few treats. Biscuits and gravy we tasty, filling (as it should be), and lots of pepper (which we like). Pineapple upside down cake was fantastic, chocolate brownie was the same as make at home (still good), and the other cupcakes we tried are yummy.“
“10/10 experience and the staff were courteous and affable. Very small, intimate place. We mingled with other customers, met a couple of very cool people, and got recommendations for foods to try; I had the hot SoulChik plate and my partner had the regular SoulChik plate. They were both delicious. We also had the v-licious taters and finished our dinner off with blueberry bread pudding and coconutmilk ice cream. We will definitely be going back.“
“I’ve tried pretty much every vegan biscuit I could find in middle Tennessee, and nothing compared to Guerilla. Bonus that you can buy them for your home too. Can’t recommend enough ?Vegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: Everything is vegan/dairy free“
“Food was excellent. Pace a little slow but worth the wait. Might be a one-man kitchen. Will be back often.Scramble tacos: 9/10 simple. Delicious. Better with their smoky hot sauce.Gyro: 8/10 more of a BLT pita, but great flavor.Soul chik: 8/10 seemed to be mushroom. Maybe hen of the woods. “Y’ALL cook your good tails OFF ….. like wtf …I’m am WEAK with fullness. I had the lamp, Mac and cheese, fried plantains, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage and shrimp …. YUP ima a fat tail and I ate it ALL !!!!! And the Sorrel was amazing …. Geeeez why would you Cook like this?!. I love y’all.“
“I guess technically it is a dive bar, but it is not dark or dingey. They do have a full bar and a good drink selection. The food has been hit and miss and they seem to frequently be out of things. The bartenders are usually good and the service is pretty good. Check out this hidden gem (but don't tell anyone).“
“LOVE IT HERE!! food: I got the BC bowl and it was sooo good. Acai bowls are my favorite food and they have great ratio of topping to smoothie. (to compare- grain and berry has too much granola and more toppings than smoothie). The bowls here have more smoothie per bite/equal amount of topping. parking and ambiance: Easy parking! free parallel street parking all down the street, i've always been able to find a spot easily. Super cute inside, fair amount of seating, good place for studying. bathrooms towards the back.“
“Had some tacos while hitting the farmer’s market and I was very impressed!! It can be hard to find good vegan/gf tacos with sides and even tamales in the area, so I’m looking forward to getting tacos here all the time! Definitely recommend to anyone, not just vegans! 10/10.Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan and GF clearly stated on menu.“
“I love the juice selections. Snap is my favorite but I also love happy and Cya. My grandkids love it too. I don't spend a lot on coffee so I count this as my treat during the week. Highly recommend their juice. I shop at the location inside Hendersonville Produce.“
“Best Juice Cafe in Nashville :) the best and incredible service and yummy food! What more can you want <3Vegetarian options: Definitely has stuff for us vegetariansDietary restrictions: There are items that cater to each person! “My husband and I always order pizza from lavera. But last night he surprised me and ordered pasta and let me tell you, WOW!!! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was delicious and mouthwatering, fully satisfying in every way. He had the baked ziti and from what I tasted of his it was also way past par. Both had a lot of sauce which is great bc a lot of places skimp on the sauce. We also had the garlic bread and it was literally the BEST garlic bread we've ever had. I'm telling y'all, if you want amazing pasta but not break the bank then order from La Vera. They always meet and exceed our expectations“
“No disappointments, a solid 5. I ordered the kale wrap and sweet potatoes fries, sampled the. Ornbread out of curiosity, and it was deeeelicious!!!... .I Ordered from the doordash app, but actually went for pickup. I just scanned the QR code once entering the building and it will tell you what Locker to pick your food. The app was very much so accurate on times.“
“Deliciousness! We had the Hawaiian Pizza and it was fabulous. Great crust, creamy cheese, so hot and fresh. Delicious smoothies and coffee. Can't wait to go back and try more vegan treats!Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options, entire menu is dairy free and vegan!“
“I visited Nashville for a long weekend last year and honestly the smoothie bowl here miiiight have been one of the best things I had. Super friendly environment, great recommendations from the staff (shoutout to the redhead who took our order for making our smoothie bowls like an absolute PROFESSIONAL), and a nice sunny area to sit and relax while eating! The smoothie bowls were amazing and very filling and I tried a couple juices too! So glad I stopped by and would definitely go again next time I’m in Nashville!“
“Food is wonderful! I’m so happy to have a place to go for quality, clean, whole-food options. But why can’t I find the nutritional information anywhere (macros, etc- not just ingredient lists)? Would be nice to be able to enter this information into MyFitnessPal or other food tracking apps for folks on a journey to health.“
“I like this place a lot. HOWEVER, we brought friends as our guest because we like this place so much, and I found it greatly disappointing that the amazing whole grain bun was not served with my turkey hatch Chile sandwich. Nothing was said that a cheap white bread substitute would be served. It just showed up with a white bread bun that looked like the local cheap Kroger buns. I told the waitress that it would have been nice to know if they are out of the bun that is listed on the menu. This bun is what makes this sandwich. I know, I have had it before. I’m amazed there wasn’t a price adjustment. Wait staff need to tell customers about substitutions. We spent well over $140 plus tip on this lunch. I’m not sure I’ll be back and I know it doesn’t matter when they are always busy. But this is how restaurants lose clientele one disappointment at a time. Lisa Rhea“
“Absolutely delightful experience! I have recently dined at this place and was truly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff was really good and incredibly friendly, and the food was really delicious. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the flavours were outstanding. I highly recommend this place do visit them. I can’t wait to return for another memorable meal!!“
“So, this was catered and I have to say I'm definitely going to have to check out this spot on my own to try other entrées. Brown stew chicken had such depth, chicken was tender while the jerk chicken was also pretty good. The Mac & cheese was stupendous while the rice and peas were what I would expect...just good and well seasoned.“
“I think the food I purchased was delicious, they didn't have any rice, but the substitute was great. This was my first time trying this vegan dish so I didn't know what the difference would be. My husband wanted the vegan burger but they didn't have that so he purchased a wrap, I don't know if the time we went was to late and they ran out of fresh rice and plant base burger. That would be my only concern is looking at the menu and maybe having a taste for something and they don't have it, otherwise the music was nice and I would recommend this place just call ahead to make sure they have whats on the menu.“
“Fire. I got the sunflower bites, bootable. Think it's called, and a green smoothie. Has some type of protein. I don't know what it was but I have vegan gluten free allergies and got no reactions to it. Super rare for me because most vegan proteins or any protein in general really can sometimes bother my IBS. I had no issues here with that. That being said, next time I visit Tennessee I will definitely be stopping by in this place again. Honestly hopefully when I move there I can become a regular lolDietary restrictions: Gluten-free and vegetarian“
