My husband and I visited J Frank for the first time over this past weekend. The staff more than met our expectations and a big shout out to the chefs! Our dinner was immaculate! Drinks were great and the surroundings were comfortable yet fun! We WILL be back & I will be recommending J Frank from here on out! Thank you J Frank for an unforgettable experience!

2 of us ate here again last night, and once again everything was outstanding! From our drinks to our meals along with great service in a nice atmosphere…we will be back again soon!Highly recommend the NY strip, Salmon, sea bass and the crab hush puppies. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu as this was our 3rd time dining here in the last 3 months and everything we have had has always been delicious…especially chocolate martinis for dessert!

Being four hours from home I was hoping for a well deserved dinner after a rough day at the motocross track with my kid. The dinner started off amazing and we were so relaxed and hopeful for a beautiful dinner, but then……one dinner failed to arrive. The rest of the party began dining as we waited patiently for the remaining dinner. I eventually had to ask the host about the missing dinner as we were about to finish ours. The dinner finally arrived after we were well finished and very disappointed. Out next wait was for a box while the checks never arrived. Out three children were exhausted so we decided to head down to the front desk requesting the check. After finally receiving our check we witnessed no compensation for the wait and disappointment of our service. We had high hopes for this establishment and unfortunately will never return.

I really wanted to like this place. We love finding nice restaurants to eat when we are traveling and this place looked perfect! When we got there, we were about the only table seated in the building. We had young kids with us, so we made it clear we were attempting to get in and get out as fast as possible. Our waitress was really nice, however service was absolutely one of the worst places I’ve ever been to and that’s saying a lot. I love to give the benefit of the doubt, but there was just no reason in this case. Not only did we wait over an hour for our food, one of our meals did not come until everyone was finished, only because the server was reminded. Yes, we were still charged for it. They told me they could make chicken tenders for our young child, however it was actually 2 grilled chicken breast which he wouldn’t touch. Steak was COLD. They charged me for a side I never got with my meal. Waited forever for someone to bring boxes and then ended up having to go downstairs to get our check because no one came back. We also ordered A ROUND OF BEERS TO THE KITCHEN! When I asked about the side I never got, they said the manager was busy so just gave us cash. Paid $220 for a meal that felt like Outback Steakhouse which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. Hurt me to not tip 20% but it was seriously not worth it and if I was the manager I would have at least comped that $26 meal we didn’t get until no one even wanted it. I would just say save your money because it was a big disappointment.

Went there and ate for Valentine’s Day. Food was not only amazing but the service was great also. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. They also had a photo-shoot that was set up. We took pictures and they were sent straight to us. Would recommend the restaurant out of all in the tricities.

My husband surprised me with dinner here for valentines day yesterday. I had RAVED about it to him so many times from buisiness meetings and healthcare dinners I’ve had here. He had never been. Our server Phillip was great! The food was not and poor decisions made by the kitchen/chef. We ordered drinks and the salmon dip. Salmon dip was amazing as always. I had ordered the chilean sea bass with risotto and asparagus which I have had several times and it never disappointed. My husband ordered the crab cake and filet-medium rare. The kitchen took a little time but that was not a big deal, we were in no hurry. Had several drinks while we waited for our meal. As Phillip delivered our meal he appologized and said that when he went to get our plates he was told they were out of the chilean sea bass and that I had been given Austrailian sea bass instead with risotto. No asaparagus. Now, these are two totally different fish despite both being sea bass. The density, taste and quality are not the same by any means. And I wasn’t given the option to choose something else prior to being served it. I did try it and thought I might eat it as I love fish, but I didn’t like it. My husband’s “filet” was VERY thin, medium well done and was eaten and gone almost 45 minutes before I got what I ordered in place of the fish I was served that I didn’t order to start with. He said he would rather choke something down and never go back than ask for a replacement. So while he ate I enjoyed wine from a bottle we ordered. Now, I have worked in fine dining when I was younger. Refires would always be a priority, however the time to receive it showed it didn’t. When I did get what I reordered, which was a tenderloin, brussel sprouts, and asparagus, I had no silverware and no asparagus. The silverware had been taken with the first dish and my husbands picked up with his empty plate. It was almost fifteen minutes before I was able to get silverware. When I cut into the steak it was well done. The brussell sprouts were good but I was so ready to go after the steak was well done and left them. When we got our check Phillip brought out the asaparagus and a to go box for it. For a $215 meal and how much I loved this place it was honestly a deflating experience. I know it was Valentine’s Day, I know it was busy, and we were super chill about the situation. I just sincerely, am so disappointed because I absolutely loved this place, bring collegues, clients, and reps there along with my professinal association members and now I just feel so blah about it. :(

One of the best, finest places I’ve ever ate at. Why did I not go here before today?! Mixed Drinks….yummy. Bosa Nova and watermelon. The drinks, appetizer (crab hush puppies), salad, and entrees were perfect. I’m a Cesar salad ? person. Their’s is better than Magginanos. ?. My main dish was perfect for my type of appetite. Shrimp, roll, crab cake, and steak with brussel sprouts, and get this…..sweet and regular potatoes, blended together. ?Waiter was very professional. Fire place going. Space away from other patrons. Finished off with a raspberry creme cake, not to go, straight in my belly. Guess who took home banana pudding cheesecake and another pumpkin pie cheesecake to go? Me. It was me. Worth every penny for this eatery. God bless you all who work for J Franks. ???❤️??

We didn’t have a good experience. The service was very slow and inconstant. Half our entrees arrived at room temperature. The dressing for the wedge salad and the remoulade sauce were so spicy that they overwhelmed the food. Overall, it didn’t live up to our expectations or the price.

The restaurant is very interesting setup as it is in an old house. The tables are set up in the different rooms. The lighting was nice and room was plenty. The food was good but not great. The flatbread pizza was very good. The oysters were good but cold. The steak tasted like it was cooked in a boil bag and grill mark put onto it. The main dish came out cold. The steak was cooked perfectly but had little flavor. When I left I noticed we were over charged 2$ for each main dish. So food is ok but there are better options for the price.
