The Staff here was absolutely amazing. It was my first time going to a bar without a male accompanying me and my girl friends. With that being said the men there were acting down right disgusting so the bartender took us under his wing to say and made sure to tell the jerks to get lost. I don't know who he was but this was in 2009 so if you were that bartender, you are amazing!

Lost it's dive bar charm with the new addition. And only bar I have ever been to that wants to scan your ID. I am nearly a senior citizen and was asked for ID. I thought whatever got it out to show the bartender and he had a scanning device ready. NO THANKS, dont need my ID recorded in a system while I am out drinking.

Walked in to the bartender greeting us with “aren’t you blind you have to show IDs at the bar” as we were walking upstairs to play pool. Then when we showed him IDs were greeted with “thank you princess” after such service decided to just go to the pool hall a few doors down and were told “You guys have the best evening” in a sarcastic tone. We’ve been there multiple but will absolutely not be going back. Ole boy should be canned.

Update: Thanks for the response but I am not making this up. Four of your employees were involved-3 men and one woman. Two (a man and a woman were in the bar in the front area by the bathroom, one came out of the bathroom and the fourth guy came from the kitchen, and pulled the other “bathroom” guy back into the kitchen once he saw what was going on). Also, I have never left a negative public review for any business before on Yelp. I support small businesses ?. I’ll let the readers draw their own conclusions.Original post: Bathrooms are male and female. I was waiting for the ladies restroom for quite a while (men’s was totally open but I leave that to the guys out of respect) and a dude finally walks out. I told him to use the men’s restroom. No reason to be in the women’s. He started arguing with me about it. ? Then a worker comes from the kitchen and…pulls him back..into the kitchen. Better still. Then I told a female worker who said “well, you still got to pee, didn’t ya?” Bless her heart- aren’t I the lucky one? I guess all those women who fought for seperate bathroom facilities in the 1800s were soooo sexist or something. I can’t believe I have to say this but women have a right to their own facilities for basic hygiene and valid safety reasons. If this establishment doesn’t care about women’s safety then please stop pretending and put All Gender signs on your doors-at least we’ll be forewarned. Basic bar, rude staff, pass this one by if you get the chance.

Stopped here for a Friday night out for some drinks. The bar tender that was serving us in the one side, he was awesome. Went to the other side of the bar to cut a rug, and have a couple more drinks. Everything was cool, until we were at the bar and ordered our last round, the girl bar tender sat someone's shot in front of us . It was picked up by mistake and next thing you know the bar tender and the girl that ordered the drink was acting crazy making a big deal about it. We offered to buy her another shot but she was being a hunt spelled with a C. She acted like she was going to do something. Next thing you know security was kicking us out. I guess it was because we were from out of town. And not a bar rat like the girl at the bar. We left without any issue but the girl bar tender and the girl at the door, talked very disrespectful to us and called the cops. Lol. So if you go to this bar watch your self. Beware of the Hunt Karen's. We will never go to this bar ever again. Don't recommend it due to our experience. Not every employee was Hunts. But the few that were ruined it for the rest.
I love this place and the environment they have put together for their customers. Its a great place with great beer and great people! I have met some of my best friends from here, still friends decades later. 10 out of 10, would try again!

Went there for dinner and drink, bartender said they only had microwave food. We decline dinner but ordered a beer each.some of patrons in the bar was constantly loud and cursing, MF, GD. The bartender apparently has lost control of the environment. We left and won’t npbe back
