Savoring Southern Comfort: Piggin' Ain't Easy Barbecue in Burlison, TNNestled in the heart of Burlison, Tennessee, Piggin' Ain't Easy Barbecue is a hidden gem that beckons lovers of Southern comfort cuisine. Stepping into this sweet, family-owned establishment, the aroma of slow-cooked perfection fills the air, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The star of the show is undoubtedly the pork plate – a testament to the artistry of barbecue. The meat, tender beyond belief, practically melts in your mouth. The mild sauce served alongside adds a harmonious touch, enhancing the flavor without overpowering the natural goodness of the pork. But Piggin' Ain't Easy is more than just barbecue; it's a culinary journey that brings you back home. The potato salad, a delightful side, boasts flavors that resonate with nostalgia, evoking memories of homemade goodness. The portions at Piggin' Ain't Easy are not just ample; they're downright generous. The food was delicious, hot and tender. Mac and cheese, potato salad and baked beans are a must. A little out of the way, but well worth the drive. Follow them on Facebook and find out about their secret menu.

Is Piggin' Ain't Easy off the beaten path, yes. Is it fancy, no. Do they have friendly service and delicious food? That is a Big YES! BBQ Baloney is thick and Smokey with a char to it, fried okra was fresh and hot from the frier. The Fried Strawberry Shortcake was off the charts and unique and I think my taste buds exploded. I would go just for this desert. They fry the pound cake, you almost need a knife to eat this. The BBQ is smokey good. The owner started with a food truck and has won many BBQ Contests. He has the trophies on display to prove it. Randolph Community is nearby and is on the banks of the Mississippi River. Fort Wright was a Civil War fortification built in 1861 there. Anyway, it is a pretty drive out to Gilt Edge and it is a fun area to explore but the reward is the mouth watering food at Piggin' Ain't Easy!

Was driving thru Millington and found this place on Google maps which was rated pretty good so We decided to try it. We both got the combo platters which was filling and great. The pickles were delicious. Excellent service!
