“It's always the small spots with the good food! Shout out to you Josh (cook)! And yes I will be calling ahead of time for some of your food when I come back down south!”
“Called in out to-go order while on our road trip. So glad we stopped here. Quality sushi and surprisingly cheap. The prices listed here on google are not correct. The things we ordered were cheaper than what is listed! That never happens”
“Stopped on the way home from Georgia to Indiana. My hubby had the platter so got to try everything and loved it all. Said the ribs were the best he ever had and the baked beans are amazing. I had the tuna melt and OMG…. DELICIOUS!!! Also the breading on the onion rings was perfectly crispy. We will be back every year.”
“Me and my fiancée LOVE Waffle House, staff is always friendly and we go late at night usually. It's clean and food is great, drinks are great. Can't complain about Waffle House ever.”
“Shoney"s Breakfast Bar is always good for awhile Caryville Shoney's was going downhill but they have turned it around always a friendly helpful staff. I love their scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy.”
“Their sweet tea is the fluid of the soul! I absolutely LOVED the deep fried zucchini and highly suggest it. I loved the down home atmosphere, and brought back strong memories shared with My Grandparents, Northern girl raised southern. The roast beef and gravy needed some salt and pepper, but I wasn't unsatisfied. I had to stop myself from taking a third sweet tea ! If you are driving through Clinton, be sure to stop here and nowhere else! The waitress was amazing, and I loved her character.”
“Good food. A little tight to turn around but well worth the walk if you don’t want to drive up there. Yes they sign is high enough to drive under with a 13’6.I will be coming back. I just wish he was open later. We need food at night after everything else has closed. That’s where the money is. There’s no competition.”
“Exactly what us SXSer’s needed!! Come in from a long day on the trails and stop at the Blind Frog Cafe for a hot delicious meal before heading back to camp. Wings are huge, pizza was delicious and service was super fast and amazing. They serve beer and seltzers in cans. We enjoyed it so much we went two times in one weekend! Everything we ate was great. If you are not coming in off the trails please note they do their best to keep the dining room as clean as possible but the riders come in very dirty, I promise it’s worth overlooking the endless dirt on the floor despite their attempts at cleaning frequently!!!”
“My Wife and I had been wanting to try Fox's Diner for a while and today we was in the area and we stopped and I am sooo glad that we did.I had the catfish dinner and I don't have one bad thing to say about it. The fish was thick and cooked to perfection, the dish came with crinkle cut fries, cole slaw and hush puppies. The sides was just as good as the fish too ! My Wife had the 6 pc. chicken tenders plate and it came with crinkle cut fries also. The pieces of chicken was big and juicey and she could not finish her meal so she got a to-go box for her things. Now to the wait staff, We had a young man waiting on us and he had to be the most polite and professional young man that I have seen in a long time and I later found out the he was the owners son. Mom and Pop should be proud of their son and their business because me and my wife will be returning. Fox's Diner is a family owned restaurant with a comfortable feeling about it and our opinion of this Diner is very high and we will enjoy food with them again. I will rate this visit as 5 star experience.”
“First time at this diner and it was very pleasant. Not what we expected. Being called vols diner we thought tvs would be on sports and music playing. Nope. The atmosphere is actually what you would expect at any roadside diner...sounds of dishes being carried back and forth to the tables and conversation. We both ordered the vols burger with fries and it was so amazing! Very friendly people. We will go back.”
“The only place in the area that has white pizza, and it's delicious! Huge calzones as well, and decently priced. The dessert choices are so amazing it is always hard to decide lol. Anytime I'm in Clinton during lunch time I always stop in for a personal pizza.”
“My family LOVES Mugs! It's the best place in Campbell County for deserts; the menu is greatly varied, and the value for the money is spot on (seriously, a "small" cone here is a large elsewhere - just go try it!). It's such a cool spot to hang out, too. The staff here are all the friendliest. My family recommends this place the highest that we can.”
“Okay this lil spot was the best. On a road trip we waltz in espresso deprived, expecting a iced americano the woman heard me wrong & handed me a iced Carmel macchiato BUT I was so happy for the accident bc I discovered that it's now one of the best things to hit my lil tastey-buds. God bless mana we will be back ~~~ :)”
“Glad to see a local donut shop hanging in there in the LaFollette/Jacksboro area. The selection was really good; all the varieties we picked were fresh. I'd not recommend the house coffee unless you're good with standard pot coffee with no frills (it's OK for me, but not for those I got some for, ha). +1 staff and service+1 food and drink (smoothie was good, coffee was OK)+1 location and parking+1 donut variety-1 cleanliness - in front of the counter was good; a couple spots i observed in the back needed some care. Will be back in hopes of continuing to support this local business!”
“Amended review. While wait staff was excellent our waitress was awesome she is like no bill and we are so sorry. The food left something to be desired. It was disgusting posting a picture of the big nasty hair in my dumplings! I know it wasn't mine as I have Bright red hair. This hair was black, be warned looking at the picture if you have a weak stomach will make you puke! I saw it looked across the table my mom panicked she said," it isn't a hair is it?" She knew by the look on my face that yes in fact it was a big old greasy hair. Laws help me I was so disgusted I could have puked up my toenails. The windows were filthy in fact mom said, "they need to get a local company to clean the windows." She cracks me up. Anywho unless you ask for a side of hair, look at your food thoroughly and the kitchen crew need to clean up their act. It was MCNASTY! It's sad Cracker Barrel used to be my most fave place to eat. I have been so disappointed in them recently. @CrackerBarrel do better!Update: The store manager got in touch with me apologized, and offered two free meals. That was kind! I appreciate it. I am thankful his staff were so kind. So will I go again yes! If you show me kindness I will show you kindness. So for the staff I would give a hundred stars.”
“They do an amazing job! The taste and presentation is out of this world! Not just the cakes, everything that comes out of her door! I just recently finished her cake decoration class, it was fun and I loved every second of it. Needless to say I am not a good student with anything crafty. She took time away from her family to teach her skills. She will never lose me as a customer or friend! What her and her employees offer is so much more than making cakes and selling them. After taking her class, and buying everything needed to make a cake, and icing makes me appreciate her and the team so much more!!!! Sorry for writing paragraph!”
“So about 2 months ago I started eating it at this particular Firehouse pretty much every night and the food is always great and I do have to say that the service is even better the guys are always extremely friendly and they all know me by name and usually before I even get to the register they're already typing in my order because they know what I usually do again the service is impeccable really great friendly guys”
“Hot dang. It's amazingly good. The rub they use on the ribs, they fall off the bone. The brisket literally melts in your hands. It's like meat M&Ms. I was a little skeptical of the slaw, wasn't very vinegary. But it really works great with everything. It's by far the best in the area.”
“While I lived in La Follette this was my coffee go to. The service was always amazing and friendly. Whenever I return to TN I'll make sure to stop by every time.”
“Down home cooking at its finest!! This is one of my favorite places to eat!! It doesn't matter what you order. All their food is delicious. Big portions and quickly served. Their sweet tea is the best I've ever had. Meatloaf to fried catfish is all made fresh. Prices are very reasonable, and desert portions are huge. My only recommendation would be ~ They need to be in a much larger building because they deserve it!! ❤️”
“They're bacon and eggs was good didn't care too much about the kind of biscuit they've got and didn't care a whole lot about the gravy but they have some good hot ”
“Hubby and I have been missing Waffle House since we've been in states where there wasn't one. I don't know if it's because we have been away. But this was the best meal we've ever had at one. This location was packed. But yet they were ontop of cleaning off tables, friendly attitudes. We will definitely be back before we leave Tennessee.”
“After riding the atv trails all day we were all extremely hungry and decided to give Harrisons a try. There were 3 adults and 4 children and we all absolutely loved our food. The steaks were delicious, the bread excellent and sides equally as good. The chicken sandwhich, steal pasta and chicken pasta were fantastic as well. The waitress was kind and attentive and the price was reasonable. We would 100% recommend and will go back.Parking: Large easy to manuever parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for kids and plenty of spacious tables.”
“Had to wait a couple of minutes, about 5, but the tenders were fresh and delicious! The fries were crinkled and seasoned to perfection! Love this restaurant!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.”
“Me and some friends visited your restaurant 2 times while we were in Tennessee last week! Our friends went the first time and said how great the food and the service was so we decided to go back. Me have food allergies does make it extremely hard. I told the waitress I was going to be the hard one and I was. There was nothing I could eat other than a salad because of cross contamination on the grill! Our waitress went above and beyond to find something even though it wasn’t on the menu. She knew how upset I was and wanted me to eat something. My salad was delicious but not what I wanted. I appreciated her suggestions and her will to make it right! We talked about getting a separate sauté pan just for celiac or gluten sensitive guest! She told me she was going to suggest it. So for future guest with food allergies would have other options! I wish I could remember that sweet girls name I just want to thank you again and we will be back!Dietary restrictions: Celiac”
“Great neighborhood place. Family atmosphere with quick and friendly service. Food tastes just like momma would make. Glad they are in the neighborhood. Wish they could be open more hours but blessed they are here.”
“El Pueblito is a gem! The friendly waitress made us feel welcomed, and the food was absolutely delicious, packed with authentic flavors. It's a perfect blend of great service and quality dining.”
“Our pizza was hot, fresh and just as we ordered. Server was very friendly and attentive. They were busy so there was a wait. The only con was they were so crowded any type of isle was blocked and we weren't able to get my friend's wheelchair through.”
“Enjoyed the vegetarian food. Service was great and everyone was friendly. Impressed that our meal was not oily.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas, Quesadillas, and Salads”
“Stopped and stayed at a local hotel while traveling home. Saw Jacks by chance and glad we did! Joe was awesome and the 2 man band was fun. Sandwiches were good and the beer was cold. Will stop if in the area again!”
