Stopped on the way home from Georgia to Indiana. My hubby had the platter so got to try everything and loved it all. Said the ribs were the best he ever had and the baked beans are amazing. I had the tuna melt and OMG…. DELICIOUS!!! Also the breading on the onion rings was perfectly crispy. We will be back every year.

I've eaten there with my family several times over the past year. On 3/17, we went for lunch and did not have the best experience. The restaurant didn't appear overly busy and yet we waited probably over a half an hour for our meals. I ordered the sweet and spicy BBQ meatball sub and it was one of the worst subs I have ever had. The bread seems doughy and yet it was burnt at the same time, like they put it on a panini press or grilled it on a flattop. The top and the bottom of the sub roll was black and had that distinct charcoal like taste. The meatballs were very dense and flavorless. The cheese nor the sauce seemed to really add anything. They were just kind of there. Fries were fine. Not a good experience overall and then to top it off I sent an email through their website to see if they would respond that way and they haven't...but they did send me emails advertising their catering... so I went ahead and made this review. I might return because we did have good food in the past but it might be a while.

This place is excellent. We got the pulled pork platter. One with baked beans and coleslaw another with the beans and potato salad. It was all good and very generous servings at a very reasonable price. Service was fast and friendly. We are camping at Cove Lake State Park so this was convenient. We ordered carryout and will be back again when we are here next time.

This place was recommended by the front desk of the Hampton Inn. We liked it a lot. The hostess and server were polite and attentive. The ribs and sides were great and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable.

While it’s been quite sometime since my last review it’s because many places since the pandemic have been either subpar or just too darn overpriced and not worthy of a review (eg, if you cannot say something nice then don’t say anything at all). Well one must give credit when credit is due. This establishment has wonderful atmosphere for all ages and I truly enjoyed the SMOKED bbq combo platter. It was so delicious I forgot to take additional photos lol.They have really good coffee ☕️ and a very attentive, more than friendly wait staff. Tonight’s scheduled entertainment was a Bluegrass band who were setting up prior to our departure but went out of their way to say hello with brief, very friendly conversation. Wish I would’ve stayed to listen as the views of the park were amazing. The location is off 75 and I truly would buy real estate here as the local town is quite picturesque with views of a lake as well as the mountainous terrain of Tennessee. I would definitely return.Parking: Plentiful even while busy
