I like the owners, but not so much the service. We ordered food that came decorated with whole garlic cloves. A waitress pointed out that the dish had too much garlic and made a gagging face. That surely boosted our appetites. Unacceptable.

Amazing! I wish I had tried this place sooner. Everything was delicious and the waitress (Star) was great. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. The bread and butter was the best I've had anywhere. The soup was unique and delicious. The entrées were exquisite. My husband loved the salad so much he ordered another one to go. I can't wait to go back and try the desserts.

I've been eating at the Acropolis since they moved to the Hamilton Place area in the mid 1990's. I am partial to the gyros, but honestly there are so many good apps, lunch, and dinner items. Great outdoor area when the weather is nice too. The service has always been fantastic and the waiters/cooks are knowledgeable about all the ingredients on the menu and can accomodate for food allergies.I highly recommend this place to friends, family, and other visitors when they come through the Chattanooga area. The Acropolis is family owned and not a soulless corporate chain. The Kyriakidis family cares deeply about their restaurant and providing customers with a satisfying dining experience.I have been told by many that the desserts are heavenly, but honestly, I'm always full after my meals.If you are in one of the many hotels in the area, or a local who has never been before, please try this restaurant out. A unique place in an area full of chain restaurants.I give the Acropolis my highest recommendation.

we like this place as a solid choice if people are in town and we want something we know will have something for everybody. i love when a menu points out the vegetarian options, and katie was so sweet and helped me manage my indecisiveness and choose the farmer’s pie which was delicious

I haven’t been to acropolis since moving from Chattanooga 15 years ago. We were in town for a short time and thought we would go check it out again. We made reservations and despite being crowded we’re seated right away. We were happy to see the place has not changed all those years. We started with a beer, wine and hummus and whipped feta. The app was very good and the pita was warm and fresh. My wife ordered the egg plant stack and I got the Cajun pasta. It arrived in a quick but not to quick manner. The Cajun pasta was great and the eggplant stack was did it really hit the spot for us. Both portion were huge though. All in all it was a great trip down memory lane.

Great experience here! We were in the area while traveling for Spring Break and stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. From the appetizers to dessert, there were no complaints from my picky family of four! Service was amazing as well!
