Have been to proof many times before but this time was different. Only offered the pop menu they had which was still good but would love a more concrete menu for those who don't want the pop. Understand the concept of the kitchen but disappointed on this visit.

My friend and I greatly enjoyed our meals: po-boy shrimp and West African Red-red was a flavorful delight to my tastebuds. Delicious!! However, we were disappointed that we could not enjoy our meals on the patio. Seating was available both when we entered and when we left.

Went to experience brunch at Neutral Ground before the restaurant leaves Proof. Chef Kenyatta & staff did not disappoint! The honey buns were perfectly shareable and delicious. I recommend you go with a friend or two and order different dishes then share. The wait staff was courteous and attentive.

Food was different and good, not great. They were out of the dish my wife ordered, an instead of telling her they tried to substitute another. Only when they were called on it did they acknowledge it, and when she ordered something else it was obviously the small bits from previous cooking's! It will be a hard sell to get her to return.

Food was fabulous and quite delicious. Don't like having to order everything from a mobile device. Kind of makes servers irrelevant. They just deliver food and the customer does the work. Not a hard process to navigate but takes away from the dining experience. This dining experience is less personal and requires more effort from the customer. The most important aspect of dining out is being treated and not having to work. We want to relax and be pampered a little after a long work week. I guess this is the evolution of the dining experience post-Covid. Soon we will no longer need servers. We'll save on tips. Great food, great ambiance but did not like having to work for the restaurant. Likely won't be back.

Always enjoy our meals by Chef Ashford's Neutral Ground! This evening we can highly recommend the Shrimp appetizer w/plantains; always a favorite- west African red-red, and a delicious Wagyu steak meal (?).... Finished the meal with a rich & delicious Chocolate panna cotta and lemon cake from Poppytons.

I was excited to try the food at Neutral Ground before my trip and I was NOT disappointed. I had the hot catfish and grits and the dish was amazing. My dinner date had the pepperoni pizza from another restaurant with chicken thighs added and it was seriously the best pizza either of us have had. Great place, with great food!!

It has been a while since my wife and I have had such a magical dining experience. We came for Sunday Brunch and there was a live jazz/bossa nova trio playing in the background (not too loud). The food was amazing - I love the local farm options and service was great too!

Really enjoyed Proof. Lots of variety in the food, one of the restaurants in residence, neutral ground, had some great options including the ramen bowl and hand pies. Really enjoyed the cocktail menu as well, the bar tenders get to put one of their own cocktails on the menu and there's a lot of thought behind them. Great experience overall! PS. You order via the QR code for table service and pay via QR code as well.

I truly appreciated Proof calling me and letting me know the road was closed due to an event but the restaurant was still open and where to park. I don't like placing the order on my phone. Since our guests entered their order first, they got their food first. Would prefer to all get food at the same time. Food was excellent and servers were lovely. All in all, a great evening.

Amazing! The toasttab functionality is great. I love that you can pick and choose from any of the test kitchens. Everything we ordered from appetizers to entrees to pizzas were amazing! Can't wait to go back.

The food was 5 star, I got the catfish/grits. Others got the bowls and loved them too! We were excited to sit outside for brunch with music, but felt that the music was a bit loud for the environment. Saxophone was nice, but really didn't need the microphone which amplified too much. Happy to support a local musician, but $10 dollars per person was high for the quality. Will be back, but inside next time.

Went for our anniversary. Food was great, service was quick, and they even gave us a free drink each - the “Snaquiri”, which I recommend. Had a great time. Note: wanted to try the Steak & Jollof, and the Pork & Oyster Hand Pies, but they were out of both on a Saturday night. If you want to make sure you get a certain dish, make sure to go mid-week.

Food is always excellent. Service is always a bit less so. Drinks consistently take a very long time. Different kitchens mean we got our food 15 minutes before our friends. So you have to chose to be rude or eat cold food. Two cocktails, 2 glasses of wine during happy hour, a French fry aP and a shared hot sausage po boy =$70.

Everything was great except not a fan of ordering on my phone and yet paying for service. However, I do like the idea of adding to my order online for speed. Great food! Great value!
