Disclaimer: I am not interested in having this place shut down at all, rather I'm sharing this review to suggest a much needed health/food prep inspection.I ate at Chef Lin Buffet at around lunchtime today (April 14, 2024), and the service and food were decent. I had some vegetables, crab rangoon, egg drop soup, and a few pieces of sushi. However, roughly thirty minutes later as I was walking around inside the Goodwill store nearby, I had to make a beeline for the bathroom. Unfortunately, as I feared, I suffered from a food poisoning occurrence.As previously stated, I'm not looking to have this place shut down, as I know it to be a local favorite, and I personally want solid buffet competition against Golden Corral. With my experience though, I will avoid eating at this establishment until a thorough health inspection and long term changes are implemented.

A very large selection at this buffet. The noodles are very good! Chinese servers and Mexican cooks, as most are these days. But! They had an extra Mexican section here that took advantage of that! Very nice. The grandkids liked the ice cream cones. I like the ones that have real ice cream buckets in the small freezer. It was a bit gritty textured, like the custard cones. I compensated with the tapioca pudding. Yummy!!! The best chinese buffet i have been to. The only reason i put a four on service was the waitress who never smiled or talked. Putting the bill on the table before i finished my first plate. Which i like to try a few little items at a time. She didn't check the drinks very well. But got 15 percent because that's our minimum unless someone is rude or incompetent. Otherwise it was a great time!

Best 12 bucks I have ever spent!!! One sushi roll cost 12 bucks in a regular restaurant. This place had it all and it was good. Even the ice cream was delish.

Would not allow service animal, not an emotional support pet an actual service animal for blood sugar spikes, spoke down to my partner and allowed other customers to chime in. Horrible people.

Plenty of options from salad, seafood, fried food, sushi, deserts, etc. All was fresh, servers came around to do drink refills frequently, price is fair considering what you get. Wasn't too crowded for dinner time.

Went for a late lunch. Buffet was very empty and the items that were available were way over cooked. Seemed like the food was sitting out for a long time. The sushi area had only two items of sushi and was not refilled the entire time we were there. Also the buffet items were never refilled also. Im extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Much, much cleaner than other buffets, a little wider variety too. Our family has already enjoyed this place twice passing through the area, and it looks like next time, it's going to be a unanimous vote again to stop by.
