I've been on a quest to find decent Chinese pepper steak here in Chattanooga. China Lee was the best but closed a few years ago. Went over to China House on Tuesday, only to find out that is the day they are closed. Went back today and their pepper steak is as good as I remember China Lee's. No nonsense real stir fried steak, green peppers and onions. The fried rice was very good, as was the egg roll, and won ton soup. I asked for pepper oil to spice everything up and they have it as well. Good food. I'll be going back. Wish they would fill up the dining area with more chairs, as the large bare space takes away from the ambience. Also they do NOT have ice.

The special dinner combinations are a great value. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. My mother enjoyed the egg drop soup and my daughter and I thought the hot and sour soup had just enough heat.
