Found this awesome Chinese restaurant, my wife and I were shopping at Lowe's and home Depot and we got huuunnggrryy. So we googled Chinese or Japanese restaurants. Formosa popped up right in the plaza where Cici's pizza and planet fitness. As you walk in the lights are dimmed the atmosphere is warm and inviting and our server Ms. Maddie is top notch she is amazing, great service and the Food Drum Roll Please.....it was to the top amazing delicious fabulous hot filling did i say delicious well here it is again. You will not leave hungry. The oolong tea is fantastic and the service, awesome clean restaurant will be going back a lot I love this local catch thanks to Formosa nice jobAlmost forgot the egg rolls sooooo good asked for 4 I ordered 4 more so good

Have eaten here for years. Food quality has decreased. When ordering to go....not given one fortune cookie per meal. This evening we got crisps with no sauces. The meals need more sauce on them. Very dry. I will not give up...just hope they read reviews...it could help improve their meals.

We've eaten at Formosa off and on for around thirty years. In that time, we've seen the quality of the food rise and dip.Today, the food was AMAZING. Go. Go now. Order the Wonton Soup. It was easily the best I've had anywhere in geological ages. Also, it was the right temperature that I could eat it when it arrived, instead of having to wait at least ten to fifteen minutes for it to cool down from lava hot - as seems usual for most Chinese restaurants. The eggroll was also surpassingly, surprisingly so perfect and delightful that I just ate it without sauce - and I have never done that before. Between the sheer size of the eggroll and the volume of the soup, I was close to full by the time the entree came out.My lunch entree was the Dragon Horse Chicken and the ginger was so potent that I thought at first that it might be too much - but then began to appreciate that it was the perfect "strong" amount.The hot mustard continues to be nearly dangerous levels of awesomely sinus opening. Like, you remember the first time you ever saw the predator take off its mask and its face opened up? Yeah, get too much of the hot mustard and you will LIVE THAT MOMENT.My only real complaint is that the basic fried rice continues to be as bland as a basic metaphor. Formosa, please consider a new recipe for your fried rice. It could be great. I believe in you.

Kid at the front counter scoffed then refused to speak to me because i did not tip for a 20 dollar take out order. I dont tip at taco bell and i dont tip when i pickup food to go. My family has been coming here for 20 years and that will be the last time for us.

I'm really not sure what happened here. We ate here over a year ago and the food was amazing so was the service. Then we get in there and the food was awful no flavor whatsoever and our server was a jerk. We were very kind to him the whole time we were there but when he saw that we didn't eat all the food because it was so bad he says hey let me get this out of your way and just started snagging up place and I've been asking if we were finished yet. Sorry not coming back.

Food was awful. I order bean curd Szechuan style w/mixed vegetables and 2 order of orange chicken. Bean curd was very soft tofu and not a spicy at all and not very tasty. The orange chicken came with some orange juice sauce, that was to pour over the chicken, which was nasty as well. Will never ever order anything from the place again and would not recommend to a soul!!
