I wanted to nurse a few beers at a local dive my last night in town, so I made the drive to Lucky's and came back with mixed reviews. It's a perfect little pool hall, and most of the folks there that night were waiting on one last guy (who it sounded like had to work over time at his job) to start a pool tournament, and I could see by the many trophies throughout the bar that this was a regular thing. The tables appeared to all be coin operated. There was a dartboard in the back, and a couple of people were playing while they waited for their friend. There's a bar-top video game, a jukebox, and a couple of tabletop video poker machines. A lady came up to me to let me know they had zucchini bread for sale, so that was kinda cool. But I was ready to drink some bourbon, maybe have a few beers, and I quickly noticed this isn't a bar, exactly, as they only serve beer & soft drinks. The beer was nice & cold, though, and a sign above the bar read, "coldest beer in town", so I could agree. I asked the bartender about liquor, and she let me know I could "brown bag" it, but I had to pay $2.50. The guy sitting next to me showed me his unlabeled bottle from home and told me he was drinking Jose Cuervo. There were chips & vending-machine-type snacks for sale, and ashtrays available for smokers. The lady behind the bar was super nice, and I struck up a conversation with a local, so we proceeded to talk for a while as I drank my beer. I really wanted to like this place, and I kinda do (I like to drink in super casual places and talk to people), but I guess I was just looking to have a little more than beer. With some buddies, playing pool or darts, I imagine it would be a great place to just hang out and relax.

Love this place! Had a girlfriend feeling down. Took her to Luckys. She danced, & played darts. Had a blast! I think they have the coldest beer in town. Staff was exceptional. Food was good. Laid back, comfortable place.

Good food for good omg so good love the food so good omg love the beer, the burgers so goooood I cant imagine this place closing it just helps me when times are tough
