We went at a weird time, it was near closing before July 4th holiday. We had decided to go after finding out another place was closed. I'm sure the owners weren't thrilled with us coming at that time! But I'm really thankful they were willing to take our order, and though the selection was limited at that point, they gave us extra food. Really hospitable couple, would definitely like to try again on a normal day. The food has that homecooked taste, which is very comforting.

Me and my daughter were wanting some down home Bbq..While riding we were drawn in By the smoke. We stopped & ordered food. Mr Alvin was very nice and his wife even let me taste some pulled pork which was delicious. I ordered rib plate w/ greens and BBQ beans.. Rib were tender and smoke taste was superb.. Sides were delicious.. My daughter sandwiches was delicious. Ooo Wee BBQ has a customer 4 life now. If u haven't tried it .You gotta stop.A MUST TRY..TRUST ME ULL BE A REGULAR!

if you don’t wanna go to a big restaurant and you want just some old-fashioned barbecue this is the place to go. Don’t expect fancy tables just good barbecue. not just the ribs, the sides you gotta try the greens. make sure you take extra home with you.

OooWee is the right name for this place. One bite into the ribs and that is what came out of my mouth, OooWee that's good. The owners Al and his wife were great. This is some of the best BBQ I've ever had. It was so good, my wife took her clothes off to eat it.
Sharing all the way from Snellville GA! This was by far the best rack of ribs I’ve ever had. Fall off the bone, perfect mix of heat and sweet, and juicy! I highly recommend and will make it a point to stop again next time I’m in the area.

We decided to take a trip to the aquarium and railroad museum and needed lunch. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. It's a tiny little place and you'll drive by it on accident, bit I beg you to stop. I love ribs and these ribs are so good they will hurt you. I got the rib plate with cabbage and green beans. The cabbage was sooo darn good and the green beans hurt me, they qhere soo good. My husband got half a fryer chicken with greens and the cabbage. Get the cabbage and thank me later. My son got a hot dog . The owners took our order and made our food to order. The man who runs the pit came in and talked with us about our day and made sure we loved the food. It was a very down hime vibe and they treat you like family. The portions are HUGE. We will probably eat off of it for a few days. Worth every penny and then some.Kid-friendliness: They where very understanding of my very fussy and overly tired toddler. Made him feel comfortable and even gave him a high five on the way out
The bbq had potential, however it was smothered in sauce, so much so you couldn’t taste the meat. The ribs were super tender though. We were the only people in there and it took approximately 30 minutes to get our food. It’s definitely a “to-go” type place. I have to limit my sugar on doctor’s orders and I never thought to ask if the meat came presauced. The sides were well seasoned. Super nice people though.
That bbq was amazing! I’ve been smelling it for a while and itching to get in there and try it! The sides didn’t excite me because they weren’t special but that bbq is to die for! The sauce was perfect and the tender meat retained the smoke just right. The owners are as sweet as they can be and very sociable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good plate! Can’t wait until they start doing taters!!
