Absolutely the best place I've eaten at so far in Chatanooga. The gooey burger is awesome and huge. Coming back to explore the menu. Real burger patties, homemade chips, and homemade pimento cheese. This little deli is a must if you are in Chatanooga. Did I mention friendly service. Sit outback and eat while the kids play in the yard. Just steps away from incline.

This place specializes in sandwiches and boy are they good. I had the Reuben with their homemade chips. I absolutely enjoyed it. We sat out back and enjoyed the view of the mountain while we enjoyed our sandwiches. The staff was kind and attentive to our needs. I will definitely go back I look forward to trying more of their sandwiches!

By far one of the best burgers my girl and i have ever eaten! I had the gooey burger with sweet potato tots and my girl had the FGT burger with a Greek macaroni salad..absolutely amazing!! If you don't get those burgers they have a great selection of other ones to choose from! Will come back next time we are in Chattanooga!

The people working at St. Elmo Deli are very friendly. I had the St. Peter's sandwich my husband had the Reuben. Wow!!! It was excellent. So much on this sandwich a person could make two meals out of it. I would highly recommend this place. Right now you cannot dine in but you can have your food delivered or go by and pick it up.

We're from Oak Ridge. We ordered by phone. Friendly service there. Ordered the Reuben with homemade chips and the Hawaiian Ham Wrap with Sweet Potato Tots. The Reuben was just OK. Bread was good. The chips were underwhelming. The Hawaiian Ham Wrap was EXCELLENT! And the Sweet Potato Tots should be trademarked! They're awesome. Also ordered a small serving of the "Real (Wo) Man's Pimento Cheese." The stuff is phenomenal! I arrived early for pick-up and they got it ready right away.In Anderson County, we're not quite as COVID-phobic as the rest of the world. So, the mask nonsense probably has less to do with St. Elmo Deli & Grill as it does with the city. But it's annoying.

This place is a great spot to get lunch! Definitely get the sweet potato tots if you are into that, you won’t be disappointed!

I got a salad. The boyfriend got a pimento cheese sandwich. This 5 star review is for the 4 bites of sandwich that I stole from him. Savory, smoky, and creamy; overall a pleasant surprise in the middle of a strip mall.

Very good sandwiches made with quality ingredients! Takes a while usually and is pretty expensive for a sandwich.

Bad food. Rude employees. We ordered three sandwiches. I have no idea why anyone would order the ham wrap. I am pretty sure it is made with american cheese and a Wal-mart tortilla, gross! My husband got the fried green tomato BLT and the tomato tasted like something fried? The jalapeno cole slaw tasted like cabbage only, very bland. The cali sandwich and the sweet potatoes were decent. So bummed, Yelp typically leads me down the path of satisfying, deliciousness but not this time.

I stopped here for lunch during a brief day trip through Chattanooga. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't stopped thinking about the Italian job. It was so good. Definitely a must try. I would even almost drive the 8 hours to Chattanooga again.
