Amazing food they serve the best Birria tacos I have ever had! Everything is fresh and delicious. The meat is grilled and smoked fresh out front, even the tortillas are crispy and perfectly made. The sauces and salsas are fresh and vibrant. The owner and everybody were really friendly and helped us pick what to order. I even got a nice refreshing pina colada to go with the meal. Make sure to stop here if you're looking for the best Authentic Mexican Food in town, maybe even the state!

The BEST TACOS in Chattanooga, Tennessee Hands Down!I was totally caught off guard because I had never considered eating at this restaurant.Due to it not having a-lot of traffic or seeing too many customers. But, it TOTALLY surprised me!My wife is Mexicano from Morelia, Michoican Mexico and she's extremely picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food. The only other restaurant she loves is the Mayan Kitchen downtown.Taqueria El Chepes has the best street tacos and Quesadillas in Chattanooga, TN!The tortillas are freshly hand made and taste just like you're in Mexico! The ratio of meat, cilantro, and onion in the taco is perfect! The tortillas don't fall apart and ever order is made fresh!I ordered from the trailer outside and had to wait 15-20 minutes for our order. But, it's definitely worth the wait!!The chef is incredible and you can mix and match your meats. This is a must Eat at for tacos and Quesadillas in Chattanooga, TN! ?

I was driving by and stopped because I saw the food truck outside. The taco's were delicious. It was pretty quiet when we got there but then some men came in on their lunch break and you could tell they came often. That is a great recommendation. The food was prepared in the food truck and brought to the table. The presentation was attractive and we will be going back.

Tried to go here early one weekday evening more than a year ago and we were kind of ignored as we stood around and eventually figured out that they were in the midst of closing. Would have been nice for someone to do us the courtesy of telling us as we arrived. There's another, better known, taqueria close by that we were already loyal customers of and fled there instead. But it was listed on the Rossville BLVD Taco Tour ( ) and the wife and I willing to try it again and I'm glad we did. It's kind of rough inside - looks like a stripped out Pizza Hut or Inn or something like that with a portion of the exterior wall cut away against which the food truck that serves as the kitchen is parked. English is not easy and the menu is large but translations of the menu items are provided. The waiter was kind and friendly. We ordered a couple of pork pastor tacos and an asada quesadilla and a chicharron con nopales (pork skin with cactus) gordita and the wife had a torta milanesa. Their PORK PASTOR WAS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD and we'll go back for other dishes featuring it. And the meat of the quesailla asada was delectable and buried in cheese and was great once we added onion and cilantro. The shell, cheese, nopales, and beans in the gordita were delicious but I picked out most of the pork skin cause it's just a bit too much gelatinous fat. And my wife proclaimed the massive torta as good but wished she had asked them to hold the beans. The meal ended up being pricey (38.00 including items listed above and two 16oz soft drinks) but we got a lot of food. I didn't see any indication they serve alcohol but I wasn't looking.

This shop recently opened on Rossville Blvd, and I've been impressed by it on every visit. Their tacos are solid, the huaraches are delicious, and everything else I've seen looks really good. Their salsas are pretty spicy, which I like, but most people would find them a bit too much. All of the tortillas are house-made, fresh, and delicious. Take some time to drop in and check them out -- you'll be pleasantly surprised!
