The quality of The Local is exceptional. The best açai bowl I have ever had, without a doubt! Their ingredients are top-notch. The PB & Açai bowl is delicious, and isn't too sweet like many of the generic smoothie bowls. It is expensive - $13+ for the bowl before tip, so that is the only downside to this place. If they lowered their prices even a couple of dollars, I think they would knock it out of the park and it would feel more fair to the consumer.

I had to go to Chattanooga for work a couple of weeks ago and had the pleasure of finding this wonderful juice bar. The energy and staff were so welcoming that I had to come back another day, and another day. :) Great food, great people! Can't wait to visit again the next time I'm in town.

I placed a pickup order for (2)1 day cleanses, Power Wrap, and Veggie Hummus Wrap on the Local Juicery’s website on Tuesday Jan. 30 for pickup Feb. 1. All was good - I received a text message once the order was ready which was around 2:45 and picked up the order around 4:45 as I had clarified during the ordering process. Upon entering I was greeting by the 2 staff that were up front and they were kind no issue with their customer service. The environment is pretty welcoming and has that typical juicery vibe with a hint of a crystal shop vibe. One of the staff gave me my order which was stapled shut with my name and receipt also stapled to it. I left without opening the bag and confirming I received everything(I’ll take responsibility for that). The issue started the next day. Once I got home after picking up my order I discovered the 2 wraps I ordered were not in the bag. No biggie I’ll just call them and see about picking them up the next day. By then they were closed so I called today Feb. 2. The person that answered claims to be Julian the assistant manager. Whether that’s her truth is not for me to confirm. I stated that I had picked up the order the previous day and the wraps are missing. Immediately she gives me an attitude and makes the statement “well I’m gonna need more info than that I don’t even know your name when or how you ordered .” So I say, “maybe you should start asking the questions.” I was fully aware she didn’t know my name but I assumed as an employee there’s a line of questioning that would start once you’ve been made aware of an error ? she then ask when I had picked the order up and makes the statement “and you didn’t check the order before you left.” I proceeded to say “the bag was stapled shut and I assumed you did your job” I can match that energy Julian. After I gave her the info she asked for she proceeds to put me on hold for a couple of minutes. She gets back on the phone to ask more questions with that same irritated/annoyed attitude she had when she first answered the phone. All I was looking for is “our bad you can pick up the missing items or we can issue a refund”. She then gets my phone # claiming she has to look into what happened and she’ll call me back. We’ll see how Julian conducts herself if she ever gets back to me. I’ll update my review accordingly.

I'm sad. In 2015 when I visited this spot I would have happily given it 5 stars hands down. Talked to the owner who appeared passionate about health food and enjoyed some great bowls. Unfortunately this visit was disappointing. The prices were not posted anywhere, nowhere, no paper menus with prices. This may be fine for people where money is not an object but although I appreciate the benefits of health food and am willing to pay and this is not the case for me. I found this distasteful. We were quickly told that is was a branding choice to exclude prices and a way to engage more with clientele except when I asked how much things were they didn't know... there is so many more ways to increase engagement between customer and staff. Also, all this being said prices are totally reasonable for a juice bar. Next the avocado toast was missing at least two ingredients the avocado oil and the Himalayan salt, so it was pretty bland, small portion and left us wanting the ingredients we were missing. The coconut sky smoothie was good, sweeter than my usual taste but totally yummy. Overall, this visit left me not wanting to return when I was so looking forward to this long awaited return. It didn't hold the same warmth, authenticity and care this time around.

It's a very nice establishment. Everyone was friendly and ordering was easy. The only thing we ordered were açaí bowls so I cannot really give a comprehensive review. We did enjoy them but the base was different from any other we have had. Perhaps it contained more almond milk. If I were to be back in the area I would return and try something else next time.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place!!! This is what every experience everywhere should be like! I walked in and was immediately welcomed in...something like 15 minutes before closing time. The lady behind the counter stopped what she was doing to say "Welcome" and then didn't even rush me to order. I got the juices I wanted and she asked if it was my first time coming in and told me about her favorite juices. She rang me up and thanked me for visiting. HELLO, someone give this person a raise!!!I bought the PearFect, Pineapple Refresher, and Watermelon Bliss. The PearFect was literally perfect! I wish I ordered 100 of them! The ingredients are so well balanced and refreshing. I can't recommend the Pineapple Refresher; it tasted more like a cucumber refresher. I couldn't really taste any pineapple at all. The watermelon bliss was good. The bag they put my juice in had a handwritten "We love you" on there, and I can't think of a better simple gesture. 10 out of 10 recommend!
