I'll keep this simple, as I just came in from the rain to have a glass of wine while it passes: do not get the rosé! Don't. It's... well it's a horrific acidic, bitter, cheap-tasting mess of a wine. I'm seriously laughing to myself at how much garbage it is.Otherwise, the place has a cute vibe and the bartender is friendly.

My husband and I stumbled upon The Social after checking into our hotel across the street. We stopped in for their oyster happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. The oysters and marinated olives were a perfect start to the evening. As a sober girl, I was SO grateful for the zero-proof cocktails on the drink menu! We decided to do the chefs choice option for dinner and we loved every single thing we were served! Perfect portions and unique flavors enjoyed in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, making our date night absolutely perfect! 10/10 Recommend!!

Leo was amazing! He answered all my questions, and knew more about the menu than I could have asked for! I would definitely request him again!

It's seriously a must-visit spot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by this cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel right at home. I couldn't resist ordering their Old Fashioned, and it was delicious! And let me tell you, the bites we got were delicious and saved the evening. The staff there is super friendly too, which just adds to the whole laid-back vibe.

The Pot Roast wasn't on the server's recommendation list, but I tried it anyway. It was delicious! The meat almost melted in my mouth along with the mashed potatoes. Both were perfectly cooked and portioned. I thought I would like the combination chocolate chip cookie banana pudding dessert, but it wasn't my favorite. I took it to go and when I got back to the hotel, I was somewhat disappointed in its execution. I would definitely go back to this restaurant, but not sure I'd stay for dessert.

This was my first visit to a lovely pub in a beautiful setting. I was pleasantly supprised that not only was it open on a Monday it also served food. I ordered a pie which was quite acceptable but, unfortunately I opted for Roast Potatoes. A grave mistake; they tasted as they they had been previously cooked, (possibly left overs from Sundays' lunch session?) and re-heated. They were so hard it was difficult to cut them. Not acceptable for a chef to turn out this level of cuisine. This totally ruined my meal and experience here, I shall not be returning

WOW.... if you go through downtown Chattanooga, a must stop is Public House! The menu is so different and changes with the specials. Snacks include pimento cheese, grilled sourdough, and fried pickles, also, bbq carrots, and Yankee cornbread with sorghum butter. Great meat and cheese platters, that you get to pick the items, small plates (that were not small), and the menu goes on. Most ordered: pot roast, fried chicken and shrimp & grits, info from a local individual who comes regularly. The most surprising - the prices were very reasonable! Nate, the bartender was exceptional and the other staff, cordial and professional.

Great happy hour with a nice vibe. They have a decent selection of craft beers on tap but it's really about the cocktails.

The food and service was top notch. The food was full of robust flavor. Portions was just the right size. I will visit it again. I recommend you do the same.

This place is first-class in every respect. The clubby, attractive bar is a gem. I went for their 2-6pm Happy "Hour" and the deals are great -- even without discounts I'd rate this place a deal. I had an excellent and substantial Caesar along with Sweet and Sour Meatballs -- also a solid serving or appetizer for 2. Very tasty, well prepared dishes. The staff deserves mention as they are timely, polite and unobtrusive. Helpful and generous of spirit too. There's a good mix of people and it does indeed seem a friendly, convivial social scene. This would be my go-to place if I were a Chattanoogan. Thanks for a great experience. Hope I get back sooner than later.Vegetarian options: You can get 4 veggie "sides" for 16 $!! Nice!

Sat in the bar area, Nathan was the bartender and server. He was AMAZING. He never stopped, was constantly running around, cleaning tables, serving people, making drinks, never not smiling. He was quick with refills and taking our order. The food was amazing. I got the pimento cheese burger and garlic green beans with a wedge salad. My mom got the lunch special meatloaf. All of it was 10/10

I am a supporter of Public House. However, I used to love their fried chicken - now I will never order it again. I'm not sure what they have done, but the last two times that I have ordered the fried chicken it has been very dry. I ended up eating the crust only.

This was an easy place to get to, and parking was simple, especially since the restaurant validates the nearby garage. The menu was nicely simple and the salmon was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and guided us to extremely satisfying selections. A very nice way to spend an anniversary in an unfamiliar city.

We were seated promptly, however our server took 10 minutes to greet Us. A table seated next to us were greeted, got drinks and cornbread before we were even greeted. We ordered appetizers and I was very clear we wanted them first, however our entrees arrived 5 minutes after. My wedge salad was okay, very basic. My fried chicken was barely warm and very dry. The Mac&Cheese was warm, not hot. The biscuit served was very soggy. The food is very overrated, seems to be all premade/ precooked sitting under heat warmers. Our waiter wore black sneakers that were literally falling apart with huge holes in them, you could see his socks. What kind of management would allow that? I could not recommend.
